Default Tinsley for Player of the Week?

I would think that if he has a good showing tomorrow night and can lead the Pacers to another W, he has to get strong consideration for Player of the Week. I haven't been to up on the other teams and players this week. Has anyone else played as well for their team as Tins has this week for us?

So far this week Tins lines are:

    v HOU: 28 Pts, 4 Reb, 3 Asts, 3 Stls
v NO: 28 Pts, 8 Reb, 9 Asts, 1 Stl...18 Pts in 4 QT to bring IND back
v MIA: 30 Pts, 8 Reb, 4 Asts, 3 Stls....not to mention the shot to send the game into OT.

I just don't know if there is anyone else that has done as much as he has this week for their team. He would definately get my vote.

If he has a good game tonight and the Pacers win, I would think Tinsley will win the player of the week award. Of course I have not looked to see what other eastern conf players have done

Jalen Rose has been putting up monster numbers though I'm not sure if Toronto's been winning. Bosh and Mo-Pete have both been coming on too.

In the "the more things change, the more things stay the same" Lebron has been putting up big numbers too, including the first triple-double of his career. But Tinsley will definitely be in the mix.

LeBron'll get it then. But I think Tins has solidified his case on being an all star. Even if he doesn't get it, he's still the best point guard in the east. I don't think anyone can say different now.

No, the best point guard in the league is Marbury! Haven't you been listening?

Seriously, it's pretty impressive. He and Nash have got to be the 2 best in the league right now.

Well not to rock any boats, but Kidd had a mean game to last night.

It is amazing that the "best" PG's are all in the east, ok with the exception of Nash, but in general all the "top" PG's are playing in the East.

Now Tins player of the week?
    does he deserve it: Yes

    does he get it: No

Consider this, JO since his return averaged 29 Pts and 10 reb p/game
One serie was 32 32 30 another week was 55 35 26 and he has not yet been mentioned for anything.

    Pacers are blacklisted.

JO's scoring avg would bring him to the 1st place on the years list.
    Reggie IS #1 on FT % (94.3)

props? not for a while is my guess; Tins All Star game? if he was playing for anyone but the Pacers, yes, now, not a chance.
Even JO is doubtfull, if not voted in(100K votes behind (of all people) Grant Hill (yes I know he made the long way back, but he is not nearly the player JO is) don't expect the coaches to vote him in; with some help from the league office.

Oh yeah, we can shout murder and more, but does it change anything?

You know what, I don't care if any Pacer gets POW and I don't care if any go to the All-Star game. I would much rather see us get the rest, regroup and bust people's asses the second half of the season.

I know Jones already said he wouldn't be in the Slam Dunk contest. Under the circumstances, I doubt the Pacers would allow Harrison to participate in the Rookie game if he was selected.

Let's just have a moritorium this year and make David Stern ('s assistant) award us the NBA trophy.
