    Noticed this interesting stat.

In the 25 games prior to Danny Granger coming back, the Pacers scored 100+ 4 times, 110+ 1 time, and gave up 100+ points 6 times.

In the 18 games since Granger's return the, the Pacers have scored 100+ 10 times, 110+ 4 times, and gave up 100+ points only twice.

But he's a chucker that can't play defense... how is this possible...

Somebody start a value thread on Danny like the Lance thread. They both get paid this summer.

Danny made about 98 million inclusing this year and excluding contracts we know nothing about, i don't seriously think he will still be looking for a payday, I am pretty sure that if treated nice he will discount to retire here.

I think we are a little far from this. Depending on how he improves or asserts himself there is a wide range in which he could be making.

So what do you think his discount to retire here is?

I think he take a reggie like last contract, say 4 x 3.5 or a 3, 4 5, 6 contract where we leave it open if he wants to play the last year or not but pay him anyhow, he has done very very much for this fraanchise and saying thanks is something we did in the past and I hope we have the grace to do again.

I don't, even with Danny coming back from injury, we know much more about Danny then we do Lance at this point of they're careers.

I thought #31 was making like 12 million in his last season.

he had a 3 year contract, he only played 2 of those, but got paid for all 3.
trying to find the amount now, but i agree with Hicks it was closer to that.
according to sites in the know he made 5.5 per annum

And we amnestied that last year. From what I remember that last year was not a chip in as a thank you. It was the brawl that broke the camel's back.

We've had a cupcake schedule since Danny's return. Recall that trip to Portland, San Antonio and OKC preceded that. So did the Miami beating. We did play Houston and Golden State, but he only scored a total of 7 points in those two games.

Saying Danny is a little better than OJ is considered giving Danny props? To stick with the child theme, it would be like me telling a couple their daughter is just a little bit prettier than Honey Boo Boo and then wondering why they got upset.
Well, this was posted over 2 months ago and I would say that it's fairly accurate. Danny is a little better than OJ.

I hope he improves, but rather than starting as many here wanted...Danny is playing spot minutes off the bench, operating a little better than Orlando Johnson.

Are you frickin' serious? Danny Granger alone is the reason for that stat?

Considering that we play in the eastern conference, we always play a "cupcake" schedule

The West coast trip that consisted of those three teams were 3 of our 4 games where we scored 100+ points. Miami didn't score 100 points against us. Outside of those 3 games we have been playing similar teams. I mean prior to that road trip everyone was saying we had a cupcake schedule. Then after it people still said out schedule is cupcake. The reality is when you are as good as this team, the whole season is a cupcake schedule, especially when you play in the weaker conference.

If you count scoring 2 or 3 times as much as Orlando usually scored while playing better defense in the majority of games to be only a little better. As well our bench scoring has gone from more misses than hits to more hits than misses. I also wouldn't consider being the only non-starter to average over 20 minutes per game to be spot minutes. Seriously, when are you going to stop downplaying Granger, and just accept that he is a good player.

You could have given your opinion as to what the reason for that stat is.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right. ― Ricky Gervais.

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

    Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.
