Nah, skimming over it I don't see much purpose in this thread.

Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Rumor has it... Danny Granger, basketball player. A man barely alive.
Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Danny Granger will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

His calf injury is a 3-6 week injury. They told us he would be out for the first 3 weeks of the season. He has now been out for three weeks, and they're waiting for it to heal completely so it doesn't remain a nagging injury. It's frustrating, but even if he misses another week and a half he's not technically behind schedule.

Granger was the only one who said it might be sooner, and that's because he said he could play through the injury once it heals up some.

I agree that I don't want him coming back if it might cause the injury not to heal but Danny did say that he'd be back to practicing this week. I assume today was the last practice this week. Anyone know if he was out there?

Despite being in the camp that thinks that Granger can contribute as a 6th Man....or basically contribute more than OJ/Solo/Copeland and more than capable of contributing at enough of a level to impact the Playoffs.....I'm at the point where I'm tired of hearing when he will return, that his calf is injured, healed, he has a sinus infection...whatever.

I'm just going to count him out until January and go with OJ/Solo/Copeland as our 1st Wing Man off the bench until then.
