Actually hes quite good. Theres a reason we are a second half team.
This is what I think too. Too much rest in the second, but it pays off in the fourth.

Was that Lance that passed that to Hibbert? If so thats exhibit A why he can't play the Point

Other than Mason Plumlee, this has been pretty bad.

Pacers look tired. Slow to react. Slow to decide. 4 games in 5 nights is hard.

Which therefor makes them late...at least that's how I look at it.

I'd rather have it be the right call but late, however it means to me that the ref is just allowed to consider whether or not he or she wants to call.
But you are blaming the side-effect, not the actual problem.

Do you want your most important players out there for the majority of the second half? If yes then you have to sit them in the first half. If you don't sit them at all you take the risk of running them into the ground like Thibs did.

You have to go easy on Lance tonight. Coming home to Brooklyn to play has him wound a little tight. Hopefully halftime will give him a chance to calm down some.

Not a fan of the way PG24 or Lance are playing so far. PG24 trying to take too many jumpers, not attacking aggressively enough (or going up weak when he is). Lance just seems to have lost defensive intensity. He's so concerned with his handles or finding a way to step into a three that he's abandoning simple responsibilities on both ends.

Both teams look tired. Both of them are on the second night of a back-to-back although they had more rest prior to this game than us.

That's also why we're seeing a lot of jump shots. I expect our energy to be better in the second half.

That is a terrible excuse. He looked fine earlier in the game, he just made a mistake, has nothing to do with playing in Brooklyn or not.

Bottom line is I hate those plays, and I hate calls that are just delayed.

    How's that?

Roy and Paul both have no fouls. I expect to see 20 minutes for Paul the second half but I want to see at least that much for Roy as well. We need to play inside out between Roy and West this half. We should be able to pull this out.

I would guess that Paul plays the whole half, unless he gets some rest when Pierce goes out. PP isn't shooting well today but he was getting to places with Lance or OJ on him. Roy will probably be 16-18 min.

This looks like one of the teams the Pacers will play better against once Danny gets back. They have good size at the wings and Paul can only guard one guy at a time.
