Here is how the tracking stats define catch and shoot:

I really don't see Scola hesitating a lot on those shots. On the contrary, he seems absolutely confident and I know that he is shooting it the moment that he gets the ball in his spots.
Ah, OK. I have always defined it as shooting immediately upon possession. 2 seconds is a pretty significant time to hold the ball, I think.

It's so nice to have a b/u PF that can hit a mid-range jumpshot and find his team mates for asts. It seems Scola has hit more jumpshots and dished out more asts in 6 games than Tyler did all last season.
Scola has 2dimes this season to Tyler's 1. Though it does seem like Scola should have way more. But that's how I feel about Lance, Lance should have way more assists, but teammates miss shots.

I get what you are saying though. Scola is a huge upgrade.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

This team is still fighting through some rust as most teams.

Just love this teams resiliency. Today felt like it was the first time the Pacers were behind from start though the first half. Doesn't matter if they give up the lead or are behind. They just stay focused and this team just closes other teams out. Just wish the offense was a bit more watchable. hahaha

How good is Scola's Mid Range jumpshot from the FT line? I have as much confidence his his shot as I do in West's jumpshot from the same spot. When I see that shot go up....it's pretty much automatic that it goes in...much like West's shot. Offensively, we do not miss a beat when Scola and West sub in and out.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

Interesting....if u look at Lance's shot chart.....he's great at taking and making shots directly facing the basket....anything else? not so great.
