Thread: Colts-Rams

    Default Colts-Rams

No thread for the upcoming game. It should be an easy win, but the Colts play to the level of their opponent a lot. We need to stop Stacy, and the O-line needs to find some way to stop Robert Quinn. If Franklin, Redding, and RJF keep it up, we can win by 3 or 4 scores. If the front 7 has an off-day, this could be very close.

    Colts-27
    Rams-14

Stacy will be another RB who will record a lot of yds on the ground. We are not good defending the run and the relative stat shows it. Imagine what it would be like if we didn't have Landry or Freeman.
We are really good though in points allowed and that matters most.

I think we will take this even though I predict a close game again. Colts by 3 or 7.

Supreme *** beating...... all 3 phases failed miserably. The only positive is that Tennessee lost today so they don't get closer in the division standings.

    Definitely didn't expect that though
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Yeah he sucks, always getting hit 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Why doesn't he magically make Mike McGlynn, Hugh Thornton, and Samson Satele not suck? Same thing with Pep!

    1) Team (again) started slow and looked completely UNPREPARED.
    2) Luck flat out sucked. (O-line did not help, but even when he had time and people open he was WOEFULLY OFF on his throws.)
    3) O-line was useless.
    4) Pass coverage was useless.

I am cautiously approaching this as just "one of those games", but that's three of "those games" against lower-profile teams (and Houston nearly was too) - two at home. Anyway, today's O-line and run game performance = 1st game playoff exit (assuming we don't implode before then).

Thursday night better look noticeably better.

This is great from Pagano. Not to blame Luck but he should have known there is no point being in there. I understand his urge and desire to make it right but it was pointless to have him out there. The game was over and as Chuck said, no one would have thought about him leaving his tail between his legs
