Default Congratulations and thank you, Indiana residents!

I have given Indiana residents a hard time in some occassions because opposing fans could take over BLF due to the lack of attendance. This didn't happen tonight. The fans were there tonight and they were LOUD. They helped the team and the team played for the fans. It was great to see and hear.

I believe in giving credit were credit is due. You brought it tonight. So, congratulations and thank you from a guy that cannot physically attend the games although I want to. Great job, guys

PS: The G2 Zone and Area 55 should be complimented for their support in every single game, of course.
Tonight, all flags must burn, in place of steeples.
Autonomy must return into the hands of the people.

I second this notion, this was the loudest pro-Pacers regular season game I've heard on TV in a looooooong time. The last couple seasons you could hear trickles of the "He's a flopper" chant, tonight it was audible enough for the ESPN commentator to mention it.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

While reading a bulls game thread I came upon a post commenting on how loud the chants were compared to other NBA arenas.

Yeah, this really sounded and for me felt like a playoff match. Great crowd last night. I too have been critical in the past, but last night was just awesome to hear .

Pacer Pride is back. No other way to put it.

I remember when some people used to say that the Colts and Pacers could never both be popular at the same time. That's just not true. We have two franchises right now who are championship contenders in both the present and future. Andrew Luck and Paul George?! LMAO, it's just ridiculous how lucky we are right now.

Every game so far has felt like a playoff match. Is it going to be like this all year?
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

My ex-roommate said he was watching the Bulls feed on TV last night, and they claimed the Pacers were piping in noise.

EDIT: Said he was listening to the radio, my bad. Don't want to make Stacey King look foolish with wrong info, he does it enough without piling on.

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

    Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.

I knew we could win you over Nuntius. A superstar, a team that plays hard all the time, a general manager that they believe in and toughness. That is what we want to see and that is what we are seeing. Great job Pacers! Never doubt Indiana fans when it comes to basketball. It was never the fans it was the organization, now they are winning them back.

Good. I warned BillS Peck and Gnome last night after the game that I was getting banned if anyone dogged on our fans.

Kinda surprised they showed the guy on the big screen with the shirt that said "every rose has its torn" I sat below area55 and was bummed on the lack of chants.

It was awesome. I still think we can do better, but I'm very demanding. Luckily we have a house that breeds atmosphere.

I don't think a team has done a more masterful job of whipping their home crowd into a frenzy for the third game of the season before..

Right down to kicking on the opening chords to Seven Nation Army just before tipoff. I watched the gametape yesterday and Area55 and G2 KILLED IT on that.

I just liked that Hubie Brown was impressed. I missed the first quarter and a half, but I enjoyed Hubie's comments.
