She's an objective writer. thats all. Pacers losing this game wouldn't have been a surprise. Second night of a back to back against a well rested Bulls team. Nothing wrong with a beat writer predicting a loss.
I don't catch the Star as much since it's went to a pay site. But was this her blog or a report? Not sure why she'd be predicting scores in a normal beat report.
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

On the foul Hibbert got in de 4th quarter by blocking Rose

The "restricted area" arc is used to determine Legal Guarding Position for secondary defenders (help side defenders) in regards to a block/charge call. The rule says, "An offensive foul should not be called for charging if the contact is with a secondary defensive player who has established a defensive position within a designated "restricted area" near the basket for the purpose of drawing an offensive foul" (NBA Comments on the rules, Section C, pg. 59). However, although Hibbert was in the restricted area, this was not a block/charge play due to Hibbert obtaining Legal Guarding Position before the offensive player started his shooting motion.
Analysis: Bad call. The restricted area is used as a kind of tie-breaker when a block/charge call occurs. Not all contact that takes place within the RA is a foul on the defender. Hibbert had legal verticality and the offensive player initiated all the contact. According to the rule posted above, the offensive player could not have been called for a charge, but this does not necessitate calling a block on the defensive player.
Good work. I hated that call and thought Roy should have been given credit for the block.

Indiana did a whole lot of showboating tonight. The Pacers play the Bulls in Chicago next Saturday. This rivalry is on.

Has this guy ever watched Joakim Noah play? Don't cry about Indiana showboating when that fool celebrates getting a defensive rebound!

Just wait until Scola and the rest of these guys get familiar with each other. He's going to be an absolute beast for us off of the bench.
I really hope that we can get a nice balence of West and Scola filling in at the PF spot.....where Scola can ger more minutes. Something along the lines of:

    West - 26 to 28 mpg / Average of 27 mpg
    Scola - 20 to 22 mpg / Average of 21 mpg

I don't really want West to be playing 30 to 32 mpg when I can see that he can get burnt out / tired over the course of the regular season.
