Who plays the most beautiful game in the NBA? - Page 2
Hmmm purely on offense, Chris Paul is amazing to watch. Obviously PG, Durant, Curry. I know we all hate him, but when they aren't playing the Pacers, I still love to watch LeBron. The strength, speed, knowledge that he has is a treat to watch. Just a great basketball player.
I agree actually. Lebron is more of a brute in a really pretty sport, but some of his passing is amazing. He has such a great control over the game and is a coaches wet dream.
I'm gonna have to vote for PG, Kobe, Curry. They all three seem in control of everything they do. It's amazing how far PG has come. His footwork is night and day compared to his rookie season.

There are three PG's that do it for me. Chris Paul, Steph Curry and Tony Parker. All 3 have TOTAL control over their teams, albeit in much different ways. They all THINK the game at an extremely high level, and they all play hard.
When he's healthy and playing prime time tv, I love the way Rondo plays also. Kid Plays so hard and literally can win games all by himself. It's like when the lights are the brightest he all of a sudden knows how to shoot a J.

I like what was said earlier in this thread about Roy not blocking shots in to the 5th row. That is huge and can't be underestimated. A block in to the stands does not result in an extra possession for your team, whereas Roy's blocks always have the possibility of that result. Nothing quite like an elite inside/out tandem for defense, to me that's what makes this Pacers team so special. Teams are shooting something like 7/28 on the season in the paint with Roy patrolling. I love gritty, tough nosed, defensive minded basketball so I guess my vote goes to the Big Dog.
In the way of a more traditional "beautiful game" argument, I like Ricky Rubio's cerebral style of basketball. He just has a knack for knowing where his man is and when and how to best get him the ball in position to score. I'm not a proponent of making a trade right now, or getting rid of George Hill, (more fantasy world talk) but I'd LOVE to see what Rubio could do setting up our guys.
Curry is a really good shooter and it opens up a lot of his game, but that gets boring for after a while. I prefer a guy who shows some great body control in drives and things like that. I would say Rubio is really good. Rose was incredible to watch before his knee.
