7 point lead, 8 seconds left, and Detroit fouls CJ Watson hard enough to put him on the floor.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

Good win but those last four minutes were irritating.

They should have coasted to a win but had to exert a lot of energy down the stretch.

@Schultz1260: Detroit is fourteen Brandon Jennings' three-point attempts away from tying this thing,
or 18 attempts from Josh Smith...

and he is eager to take them!
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Don't discount the Pistons' role in that.

When I called the Pacers pathetic I was referring to their closing effort.
You don't get too happy but you do get too angry. That's what it seems like at least.

Go and scream your heart out, my friend. Scream for the rest of us that cannot go to the game because we're a continent away as well.

Yeah, they played hard. We tried to save some energy for tomorrow's game by coasting but they didn't let us do that.

Sad thing is - it was a point of emphasis during training camp. They shot a lot of 'em.

I think it's either something you have or you don't (to some degree). Dwight Howard will never be Steve Nash at the line no matter how much he practices lol

The funny thing is that even though our percentages are bad we're still better than several teams at that.
