I still think the Pacers win. The Pistons just played real aggressively the whole 2nd quarter, starting with Bynum stealing the opening possession for a layup, and then him fouling Sloan at halfcourt on the next possession. Set the tone for the whole quarter, IMO.
    UncleBuck:

"See how stupid those fans sound complaining about the officials. That is one reason why I hate when Pacers fans complain about the refs - does not come across well at all, no matter the merit. "

You guys are aware we are playing 5 games in 7 nights. The players do have to rest every once in awhile.
The players can't go for 48 minutes, but having them sit for almost 10 minutes of game time can cost us this game.

I don't care how long the starters where on the bench, it wasn't Frank's fault they came out and sucked it up for the final four minutes of the half. That is on the players, not the coach.
Exactly they had a 6 point lead when they came back in

Thats not how the human body works. But that might be too complicated for you. So I'll just join in with your mindless bashing. And I can't help but read your posts, your flooding the topic with Anti Vogel statements.

Don't just post the same thing over and over again.
The human body can withstand immense physical exertion with proper training. These are professional athletes that work nearly year round to maintain peak physical condition. I am not going to cry over them playing 5 games in 7 nights.

Just because you don't like what I am saying is no reason to insult my intelligence.

They sat too long and didn't adjust to Detroit's physicality.

They didn't sit for 10 minutes. Closer to 7. And they had around a 10 point lead for the first 5 or so of that.

The players could have rested in the late 3rd and 4th after they kept the big lead, but now they will probably have to play hard into the 4th quarter just to win, which isn't helping their rest.

The second unit really stunk it up. Can we ever have a bench that doesn't cough up big leads?

But isn't that the point of the bench? To let them hold their own?
They can hold their own when they are complete, they are missing Watson today so they need to surround Sloan with players that are capable I don't like to have Sloan with Hill and OJ at the same time that is a recipe to lose.

I don't like it because its wrong. Its pretty simple you have no idea how athletic training works. No matter how in shape these guys were today. They are going to be worse out for Game 5 of this stretch. Push them too hard tonight, and you can pretty much guarantee a loss in Games 4 and 5. Because these guys are also going up against professional athletes.

No guarantee they would have kept it though. What happens if they also lost it. Now you have to go to the Bench without a big lead or play your starters big minutes. You act like it was a given the Pistons wouldn't make a run.

All I am suggesting is that Frank not wait until 4:49 left in the second quarter to put Paul George and Roy Hibbert back in the game.

It was frustrating to watch them blow a 15 point lead in one quarter. How often do teams get outscored by 18 points in a single quarter?

If Vogel brings Copeland then we know he is not looking to win the game.

We just sucked. The pistons applied hard pressure on our guards causing turnovers, and our starters played terribly. Not much more to it.

Why not they had a 9 point lead two minutes earlier. THey had a 6 point lead when they came in. These are professional athletes they know how to stay warm on the bench.

This thread would be a blast if that line up played.

Also I wish Sloan would yell "I'm up!" every time he scored. Or maybe when he jumped. Like DWest and "and 1!"

Lance Stephenson was there the whole time. He replaced Solomon Hill at the start of the 2nd quarter.
