Toronto gets rid of Rudy Gay and replaces him with an expiring Granger contract. Depending on how Granger plays when he comes back determines if they will make the playoffs or serious contenders for a top 3 pick.
CHA in: Rudy Gay
CHA: Out: Ben Gordon, 2014 2nd Rd pick
Charlotte gets their SF they desperately need. This would push them to make the playoffs from seed 7-8. This would also help Charlotte bring in the fan base for when they switch to the Hornets next year and bring buzz to Charlotte. No pun intended.
IND in: Dragic, Gray, CHA 2014 2nd rd pick
IND out: Granger, Mahinmi, 2015 2nd rd pick
This would help the Pacers get their pure PG that can score and dish. We could then slide Hill to the 2 spot and have Stephenson come off the bench. Getting rid of Mahinmi contract helps the Pacers financial worries for next year because Grays contract is expiring. They could always trade Watson or Copeland when their contracts are able to get traded.
PHX is tanking this season to try and land a top 3 pick in this up coming draft. Adding Gordon would defiantly add to that PLUS his 13 million expiring contract. A top 3 pick plus cap sounds like a good future for the suns.
Suns get fleeced Dragic is worth much more. He is worth at least a 1st probably more. CHA 14 2nd rd pick going to us is comical we get the best end of this trade easily. That should go to the Suns, and then somehow give the Suns more. I am not sure CHA does this, but signing Jefferson was a bit of a shocker to me so who knows. Their front office has a different vision than I do.
