    Default A blessing in disguise?

Okay, Al and JB, it's time to show what you can do.

    Put up or shut up.

I'm not sure that putting Al and JB together in that statement is very valid.

One of them has shown that he can be a pretty solid NBA player.

What I mean is, it's time for JB to show he can play, and Al to show that he's starter material.

Shade you hit it right on the money

Al wants to start (and most people think he can start in this league)

JB keeps saying he is going to bring it this year(and we all want that)...

Chances like this are few and far between...

I'll go with the hope that Ron's injury can be a blessing in disguise.

What the hell else have we got to go with?

Cro and JB get steady playing time probably, and the Pacers, can see what they've got.

Then this summer, if things work out, great!!

If things deteriorate, not much room for excuses. The BYC status of Bender, Artest and Jeff are gone, Reggie will be closer to retirement, and our guards will have had their chance to produce.

Makes this last part of the season all the more interesting (and nervewracking).

    Also....

If AL and Bender both meet expectations...their trade values go WAY UP

this could be better for us in the long term...maybe in the offseason we move one of them for a guard or big man

tinsley didn't really shine this season until anderson went out with an injury.

could it be the same for bender?

i know - wishful thinking. but still
