In the highlight packages of his games so far, Plumlee looks far better than Roy did in all aspects of the game. What a difference being with the Pacers during the Vogel era and going against Roy in practices has made for Plumlee compared to what Roy had to go through. Plumlee looks like a young Tim Duncan. I wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs are willing to part with a fairly significant veteran player to nab Plumlee so that Duncan can help polish him into their center / pf of the future.

Happy we have Scola, but VERY sad we don't have Plumlee.
I love Miles and I was sad when we traded him but he doesn't look far better than Roy or like a young Tim Duncan.
Tonight, all flags must burn, in place of steeples.
Autonomy must return into the hands of the people.

    Right you are.

I am happy for Miles. That pick was universally slammed (Stephen A. on PMSESPN called it beyond belief) I took a wait and see attitude when he was drafted. This is the situation he needs right now. But I would rather have Ian at this point.

Jermaine O'Neal had 18 points and 8 rebounds as a starter last night (Bogut was suspended). Y'all gotta watch his post-game interview, if not only to see Jermaine get emotional, but because he talks about his time with Indiana too. I've posted the link below:

still think he would've been good as a third big. But if no Roy or Ian injury, we are good.

Good for JO. Good guy. Great player. I hope they have a lot of success this year while relying on him. Just not too much success... this is our year!

D.J. Augustin has been waived by the Raptors in order to accommodate incoming players from the Rudy Gay trade. I wonder if this is his last stop in the NBA.

=== Warriors' O'Neal slated for wrist surgery ===

Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Golden State Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal
will undergo arthroscopic surgery Friday to repair a torn ligament in his
right wrist, the team has announced.

O'Neal had been playing through the injury, though he sat out Wednesday's game
against the Dallas Mavericks due to discomfort in the wrist. A timetable for
the 18-year veteran's return will be determined once the procedure is
    completed.

The 35-year-old, signed by the Warriors in July after spending the previous
season with Phoenix, was productive in a reserve role with his new team. Over
17 games, O'Neal was averaging 6.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per
    outing.

In what was likely a related move, Golden State signed center Hilton Armstrong
from the club's NBA Development League team in Santa Cruz on Wednesday.

Augustin put up 14 points and 8 assists in his first game as a Chicago Bull. Admittedly, he didn't shoot too well, but I guess there's still a little left in his NBA tank. I wasn't sure he was 'bout dis life anymore.

I heard the Chicago defense reminded people of the Bad Boy Pistons teams when they paired Augustin and Dunleavy on the court together.

Yeah, I was just logging on to post this:

Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

LOU was cut from NO. Hate to see that so close to us playing them I was looking forward to him hitting the court against the Pacers. Hate to say it but his NBA career maybe done unless there is an injury.

Obviously don't have the stats from the game but Kenny Anderson was on the trip with Rodman to North Korea and I'm assuming he got a little PT (I know I saw Vin Baker in a lot of the clips playing).

Not a former player, but I have had many debates with people on here about Kendall Marshall.

Last Five: 12.4 Points, 10.6 Assists, 46% shooting.

He still has a lot of work to do, but I knew this guy could play in the NBA. In fact, in the 6 games he has started in his career, he has averaged 13.8 APG.

Makes sense; it's a D'Antoni offense, and point guards tend to look their best in it.

Very good point! In this 3 starts with the Suns last year he got 37 assists, then was benched anyway.

Wasn't that he couldn't pass, but he couldn't shoot, so no one would guard him, like rubio.

Marshall made Darren Collison look like the best PG in the league out there, so many wide open shots, and easy plays. He can maybe make hollow stats on a bad team, but I doubt he'll ever be anything on a good team.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Leandro Barbosa is back with the Suns. Suns are my second favorite team this year will all the former Pacers.

Noticed Dahntay Jones was on NBA TV a few weeks ago too. Add him to the list of former Pacers who are working in studio on ESPN, NBATV etc now.
