Nicholson scores 18 points in the first half, plays only 3 minutes in the second. Seems Orlando has a great coach there.

No it isn't people like me. Cause when I see a problem I take action, I don't just complain on a message board. I go and do something about it, such as going to the games and staying until the game is over. I don't give a **** if people leave early, I don't leave early, but it is their life their choice. What bothers me is people like you who go out of their way to complain about something as stupid as people leaving the game a couple minutes early. Not only are you complaining, but you aren't even at the game to be able to say "I stayed until the end of the game." If you care about how many fans go to games, and when they leave go root for New York or Chicago or LA where they always sell out.

Forgot to mention OJ. Have loved his confidence since last season when he started getting more minutes. Dude won't shy away from taking the shot or an effort. Both his shooting and his drive will help us this season.

@Pacers: Vogel reports Hibbert is "fine" and could have returned to game. He's expected to play tomorrow night in New Orleans.
that's pretty good reporting but I sure would like to know what c.j. watson listens to before the game to get himself hyped up for the game or where the best soul food restaurants are on the road

Vogel keeps calling Copeland "a weapon," but he's behind Scola and Mahinmi so that's a weapon that could be scarcely used

I hope we never have to use it.

    So glad Hibbert wasn't hurt.

Wish I could have listened to Mark Boyle and co. But the league pass audio feed for the Pacers was playing the Butler game for some reason. At least the Magic broadcasters thought high of us.

He is getting superstar calls, and his confidence is like the same as Durrant's and Lebron's.

I think the FM version of The Fan was broadcasting the Pacers.

Edit: With league pass that probably doesn't make a difference.

I don't complain about others but when I go to a game I always stay til the last buzzer. Basketball, Football, Soccer, or Baseball (last out)

Please stop ****ing complaining. It is annoying and useless. If you want people to stay why don't you go to games and stay until the buzzer every single ****ing game.

That dude is a friggin' goober.

You know, it's easy to come on a message board and call people names like this when you don't even know them, but is that a fair thing to do? I've met Michael Pointer on several occasions and I think it would be more fair to point out his arrogance. If you'd call him an arrogant, friggin' goober, you'd be right on target.

I thought George and Stephenson really carried us tonight, but I also thought West and Hibbs had some steady play as well.

Really liked what I saw from the bench, particularly Orlando Johnson...who looked like a weapon out there. Scola was what I was expected, which is pretty good play.

Was surprised that Cope didn't get any burn late with a fairly comfortable lead.

The 2010 draft could easily go down as the best in Pacer history with PG and Lance.

Watching these two guys grow up the past couple of years has been extremely rewarding. It feels like it's finally all really coming together for them this year. Their confidence is sky high and their games match that confidence. No doubt, Larry Legend will find a way to keep Lance next year.

If tonight's just a preview of their 13-14 seasons, the Pacers may very well be holding the championship trophy in June.

    Is Chris Copeland hurt?
Nope. He is just behind Scola in the PF rotation.

    Great game.

Besides the excellent play already mentioned, I was really impressed with CJ. Serious upgrade from last year. When DJ was on the court, I was always nervous. I haven't felt that way yet with CJ.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

I think we are there now. Lance Stephenson isn't going to be a backup in the NBA. We can talk all day about him being the next Manu Ginobili, but obviously we aren't going to have the money for both Lance and Danny. The future is now folks.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It wasn't necessarily anything tangible or numbers-related, but he just seemed to be in the right places on defense more often than not (certainly more often than the dimunitive Augustin) and looks the part more. I like that. Think that will be a sneaky big upgrade for us when Hill misses 5-10 games with some nagging injuries later in the season.
