Default My Bold NBA Prediction For This Season

Might be a good idea for some people to proclaim stuff.

My bold prediction for the east: The Knicks will not be in the top 5 in the east, I think they still make the playoffs but barely. The Melo free-agency drama will affect them, and Artest isn't a good fit for them. I don't know who goes above them, thinking Cleveland and Detroit maybe.

Bold prediction for the west: The Clippers are basically identical to last season, a mid playoff team that exits in the first round. I think the Celtics players made Doc out to be a better coach than he really is, and I still don't believe in Griffin and Jordan as your 4 and 5, got to have better foul shooters, at least Jordan anyway is abysmal.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

IND beats MIA in the eastern finals. MIN, DET, and MIL are greatly improved. CHI stays firmly behind IND and makes a little noise. BYK, and NYK win more than they lose and are respectable but ultimately lose out.

I pick LAC and OKC as most likely in the West finals. HOU, SAS, GSW, and MEM are all players. LAL has a predictably bad year.

Washington makes the playoffs as a top 6 seed.

Cleveland gets in as the 7 or 8.

Detroit has a terrible season, winning fewer than 40 games.

Derek Rose doesnt make it thru the season.

The Nets don't even make the playoffs.

Wizards, Cavs, Pistons all make it.

One if Miami's key players gets a significant injury. They've avoided the injury thing pretty well recently - KARMA.

Granger doesn't finish the season playing for the Pacers. His injury(ies) or trade - I dunno - but he won't be on the court for the Pacers in April.

    Westbrook doesn't play this year.

Kobe plays about 1/2 the season.

    The New Jersey experiment implodes.

Utah has a really good season.

Oh and I think San Antonio takes a step back this season, they rest players during the regular season, and are a 1st or 2nd round exit. Kawhi Leonard might improve some, but I think he doesn't jump as much as people think.

Miami, Indiana and Chicago are all right there for 1-3, Brooklyn is a solid 4 (not bold really), Pistons 5, Wizards 6, Knicks 7, Cavs 8.

OKC, Houston, Golden State win divisions, San Antonio, Clippers, Memphis are solidly in, Portland and Lakers make up last 2 spots, I think New Orleans, and Minnesota don't sneak in, actually think Minnesota is going to be at very bottom of west again, Rubio and Love are too injury prone.

Eric Gordon plays well and the Pelicans win games, but they still trade him by the deadline.

One of Washington, Atlanta, Detroit and Cleveland will compete for the 4 seed. Another one of them will end up winning less than 30 games.

That's what's insane trying to predict those teams. I could see any of those 4 teams in the 25-45 win range based on potential and chemistry and injuries lol. The Knicks to me are a safe 38-45 max win team. Cleveland is the one I have no damn clue, they could be that team going for almost homecourt if everything works, or they could be 25 or less wins lol and praying for LeBron.
