Default NBA Finals returns to 2-2-1-1-1 format

The board of governors just approved it, beginning this season.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Playoffs are going to take forever. Are they giving teams extra days off due to all the traveling?
    Offseason

    Likes:
The entire draft. Love the picks of Turner, Young and trading for Christmas.
    Signing Glen Robinson III
    Trading for Budinger
    Signing Monta Ellis
Signing Jordan Hill (not for the player, but for his deal)

    Dislkes:
    Re-signing Stuckey and Allen

there are no back-to-backs anymore anyway, so I'd think there's no need for an extra day.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!).
I'm (maybe) back after being repetedly banned, merely for supporting a different NFL team than do certain forum moderators.

I like it, and I hope we're the first team to take advantage of it.

"The Houston Texans will forever regret it if they do not take Johnny Manziel with the No. 1 overall pick. He will haunt them."

"You bet I'd take Tebow late in games over ARodg."

"Manti Te'o: the next Ray Lewis."

Thank God, I hate the 2-3-2 format.

I think it places unfair stress on the team that has homecourt. They can maintain their homecourt and still face two elimination games.

I think this is the most fair and balanced system. Never cared for the other format.
