I think it is best if the NBA stays as just a North American league. Maybe set up a Euro league and Asian league then have a tourney of the champions, but having an intercontinental league just isn't a good idea.

The first problem as already explained is travel. If you only have one or two teams travel will be a huge issue always. The second issue is alienating fans in NA. If it is one or two teams you can probably wouldn't be a big deal, but as you add more Euro or Asian teams it could become a problem where you start to miss out on huge segments of fans, and it makes more sense to have multiple leagues than just one league.

I say if they want to establish an NBA Europe or NBA Asia more power to them, but to expand the NBA itself is just not a good idea.
Pretty much this. Soccer has multiple leagues and multiple championships.

Basketball has multiple leagues and championships as well. They're just not called the NBA

Coming back West is not the problem for me. It is going East overnight and having to get off a plane and straight to the customer site.

    That's because of the smell.
You do know the additional 11 folks who thanked this post are *******s! Actually a lot of the smell is gone. However the additional boarded up homes and empty businesses probably make up for it. I love Haute.

Darn, I'm going to today's game. That's okay as long as I finally get to see Danny play again.

Add DWest to the list of non-players tonight. And no TV broadcast.

So we'll probably see this, then?

    Hill/Watson
    Lance/Orlando
    Danny/Solomon
    Scola/Copeland
    Mahinmi/Armstrong

The funny thing is, if this was our best roster, I could still see it being .500 or so.

    Wow.

Why don't they just have a scrimmage between the front office staff and everybody from here who played against them before?

Sorry everybody, this is all my fault. This is going to be the first time I have been in the building since the new big screens were installed. Probably will not be seeing many up close and personal replays of any highlights.

At least it will be interesting to see how Danny actually can move for what, 15 minutes or so until he gets to take a seat "out of an abundance of caution".

Truly, though, it will be interesting to see Scola and our version of Robert Horry (Copeland) and the young guys in person.

This makes me cringe. Very thankful for Roy's progression and consistent health.

People wanted to see Lance and Danny, tonight we'll see Lance and Danny.

It's pre-season, if you are planning on seeing anything other than the bench stories and how individuals move and perform (and maybe some interesting combinations being tried) you are going for the wrong reasons.

Me, I just want to make sure my seats haven't forgotten me...

Definitely better than the days of Diener, Head, Granger, Murphy, Nesterovic

Makes you wonder how those teams were able to be as good as they were, which wasn't very good but still somehow good enough to only get one top 10 draft pick.

    Nah, 75.

It would be a great sign if he puts up 30 this early.
