Thats pretty funny, however I wonder if the league will fine them. I'm just thinking how will the league react to a franchise trashing an entire conference in their league
Why? It's witty banter, and it is up to the Eastern teams to make the Trailblazers eat their words.

A person calling Miami "LeHeat" is criticizing their message board members.

Pot, meet the kettle. You're black.
no im critical of their fanbase. made that clear. there right up there well with that fanbase up in Detroit that throws beer cups at players.

at least no one elses fan base has stooped to that all time low that im aware of.

I think it would be interesting if the NBA decided to incorporate an NFL or MLB style standings, where there's a west, central, and east for both conferences. It would never pass but be interesting nonetheless.
No offense, but how is that different than what they're doing now?

Guess I can try a sample scenario.

    Conference 1:

East: Celtics, Knicks, Wizards, Magic, Hawks

Central: Pacers, Cavs, T'Wolves, Grizzlies, Pelicans

West: Clippers, Blazers, Kings, Jazz, Rockets

    Conference 2:

East: Nets, Sixers, Raptors, Heat, Charlotte

Central: Bulls, Pistons, Bucks, Thunder, Mavs

West: Lakers, Suns, Warriors, Spurs, Nuggets

That's just something I made up on the spot, so its not accounting for balance or anything.

Aldridge's best offensive trait, his midrange shot, is just ridiculously good. Dude is unconscious.

The East was 3-0 vs the West tonight, that's got to be a first this season.

I don't think that makes a ton of sense because it only balances things out for today. I think the only real solution is to get rid of divisional play and the conferences and just seed the top 16 teams in order. Or better yet, give the top four seeds byes and make the first round best of three so only 12 teams make the playoffs.

Not cool brah. Going to the Pistons game on the 16th. My one hope is they will have some courtside seats to fill and they will ask us so we can hock their merchandise.

or just do what they're doing now especially since even with all of this "OH NOEZ THE EAST IS TURRIBLE" stuff, the fact is championships have been split evenly since 1980. 17 have gone to the west and 17 to the east. This system is fine.

Pistons are so lucky to have Drummond.

I knew this guy was going to be a stud, was drawing Dwight Howard comparisons out of highschool.

9th pick? He shouldve been a top 5 pick in that draft.

    Drummond is a monster

I admit I was glad the Spurs/T-Pups game was cancelled in Mexico I mean I didn't want the whole smoke thing to happen but really why have a regular season game overseas(beyond the Raptors games) I mean why take the meaningful(yes the regular season matters as far as playoff seeding) games away from the home fans.

Its as bad as those London games the NFL insists on having.

What size is the PG jersey? I actually like it and would pay you a fair price, that is if you can get away with telling your girl your dog ate it or something.

Mexico isn't over seas same with TOR. Basketball is a global game smart way to grow the brand.

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

Acting like Toronto is a huge difference from American I just don't understand same with Mexico. Hell back in the day the Spurs would be a Mexican league team. It really idnt that big of deal imo. Im sure the Pacers hated flying to the Phillipines but the fans gained is probably worth it to the league.
