Anyone see that Grantland series on Steve Nash?

the 3rd part is the best. I don't understand why he tried to explain fans wanting him to retire and fortieth next years salary. He earned that he has every right to it. Not his fault the GM signed a 40 year old pg to a crazy contract.

    Hmm, because of this?

Don't get me wrong, I don't wish injuries on anybody, but I'm gonna have a hard time feeling compassion when I see this piece of **** get hit in the face (especially when the blow is inadvertent).

Look, Mike played some decent ball for us while he was here at times. He was part of a terrible era of Pacers basketball, I don't necessarily fault him for that.

But he has been an absolute ******* to numerous Pacers physically every time we've faced his teams since.

    No sympathy whatsoever.

Sympathy is not the same thing as happiness.
My prediction: Solomon Hill is going to lead the team in Surprisingly Good Plays for the year. -10/29/2014

Speaking of Dunleavy, did anyone read this Reddit thread by a Bucks ballboy last season? Pretty interesting stuff and some funny player stories.

Denver just gave up 7 points in like 30 seconds. Down to 4.

You all are smart enough to realize the Heat are never out of games. They are able to coast a game much more effectively than the Pacers. The explosiveness of their offense means they are almost never out of games.

Of course Denver was never going to win @ Miami. If it was in Denver then there was a chance.

Yep. I had to laugh at a post here a few weeks ago when they played Houston proclaiming the game over when they were down 13 early in the fourth quarter. They tied the game in 3 minutes.

Faried with the banked in free-throw, got to love it.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Oh, and not sure if it was just me, but the Heat got away with murder almost after the missed 3.

Chandler got shoved , but refs didn't call it, forcing Shaw to call his last timeout.

How can LeBron argue that? He hacked his arm which caused Foye to lose it. Deserved a T.

I'm calling it right now. David West for 30. We won't be losing.

The Spurs are just destroying bad teams. They stated Parker is the only player averaging 30 minutes a game.

I don't think there's a better franchise in sports than the Spurs. The only one I can think of that's on the same level is the Patriots.

"See how stupid those fans sound complaining about the officials. That is one reason why I hate when Pacers fans complain about the refs - does not come across well at all, no matter the merit. "
