NBA.com blows the heck up with full front-page coverage of Melo scoring 62 against an also-ran. Imagine if the Knicks had the Pacers record how absurd the non-stop, wall-to-wall coverage would be.

I couldn't find the single play, but caught in Melo's frenzy was one of the best non-called traveling plays ever, lol, I can't believe ESPN highlights this stuff without saying anything...he takes 5 steps, dribbles once, then takes 4 more steps...I mean I know it's the Bobcats and all but jeez.
Lol, yeah that's pretty bad. But you cannot forget that ESPN is worse than the MSG network when it comes to Knicks homerism.

the Pacers & their Mystery Machine!

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Wow...ok...and just the other day i commented about the respect I had for you and that you were the exception to the rule when it came to Detroit and its fanbase...Pretty classy remark there...

Trade idea I had for the Mavs that would hopefully be a step in the right direction in fixing their awful defense... as neutral third parties, what do you guys think of the deal?

Did you guys watch the video that was posted? The ESPN guy clearly calls Melo out for taking "about 8 steps" and then laughs at the fact it wasn't called.

Good trade but the Twolves would never go for that.

Unpopular opinion: I hate to see the Bobcats losing. Argh.

I like it. It's not like LRMAM is playing a lot in Minny.

If Kobe was playing I'd be okay with the Lakers there's not much time left but the Knicks? Just ugh.

I guess the Pacers would have shown this sort of montage if Reggie had joined the Celtics possibly...either way it's pretty cool.

"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

    Indiana Pacers ‏@Pacers 7m
Tune in tonight: @Paul_George24 will be appearing on @JimmyKimmelLive. Show starts at 11:35p ET on ABC.
    I'll be watching.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

    How random

    http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.c...-out-together/

Kobe Bryant, 50 Cent, Meryl Streep just hanging out together…

Sunday morning, as so often happens, Meryl Streep and 50 cent had the exact same thought — I’d like to watch some hoops today. Maybe see Carmelo Anthony go off against the Los Angeles Lakers’ “defense.” And the Knicks are all into having celebs at their games.

So they did, Streep and 50 cent were seated next to each other courtside at the Knicks win Sunday over the Lakers at Madison Square Garden. They even were laughing and holding hands at points (seriously, I could not make that up).

After the game they hung out with Kobe Bryant for a while and posted to Instagram. Because of course they did.

It was a great video tribute to PP, but I have to say that after seeing that. It was completely Bush league for the Celtics to deal him like that. I mean utter lack of class to deal your franchises best player for the past 15 years and not let him finish his career with your organization. I'm really glad the Pacers didn't do that to Reggie.
