Lebron passed Bird and Gary Payton on the all time scoring list, 34th all time now. He'll pass Drexler in the next few games.

Also, Antawn Jamison is 40th all time in points. Antawn Jamison!
Also in the top 40 of all time bad defenders.

I'm I wrong, or is this the first season LeBron has been having nagging injuries like this? I remembering him having leg cramps in the 2012 finals, but other than that and some occasional sprained ankles? Earlier I heard his back was bothering him, now the groin muscle...
I believe so. Its weird to see he is human.

FWIW, I can definitely confirm that Kaman's effort, enthusiasm, and general quality of play plummeted when the Mavs benched him last season... he seems like the sort of guy that values starting more than anything else.
And the Lakers would never make a Kaman for Copeland trade anyway (at least without the Pacers throwing in at least a first round pick as sweetener). The Lakers are trying to preserve cap space for next season. They won't even trade Gasol for non-expirings. So it's a moot point as far as the Pacers are concerned (Kaman wouldn't play over Mahinmi anyway).

The more interesting question, to me, is what they do with Nash. I think they waive him in the summer to get about $6.4 million more in cap space if he's still on the team. But does Toronto want to tank bad enough that they would trade Kyle Lowry and filler (Austin Daye) for Nash. Toronto's the 2nd team in 2 years to improve after trading Rudy Gay, and I think they'll win the Atlantic. But Canadian Andrew Wiggins lurks at the top of the lottery. A trade like that makes them worse.

So this is the Year that Lebron becomes human. Well lets take advantage a win tomorrow and a likely loss to Portland tonight we can start putting some distance between us

They have until January 7th to trade/cut him or his deal becomes full guaranteed. If it's before that either them or someone else that trades for him can cut him and save 6 mil.

Which means he'll get cut and go to South Beach.

Bill Simmons with a few tweets saying essentially Bynum wants to end up with Heat or Clippers. Please god make it the Clippers.

Damn Bynum in Miami is kind of scary, 15/20minutes from him to battle Roy is huge.

If he goes there and turns it around and the Heat win it all....I am done with the NBA.

Of course, Dan Gilbert owns the Cavs. He's not about to give Miami more ammo to get a ring. Of course, if he moves him somewhere else first it's not like he can just be like "OK, you SWEAR not to waive him as soon as I sign the paperwork?"

If he is waived teams under the cap bid for him. I can see the Hawks going for him with the loss of Horford.

I would not be surprised if he's acting like a head case to get out of Cleveland and play with LeBron. If this happens and he plays well...and Miami wins another championship, the NBA is basically fixed and really not worth watching.

Bynum isn't what he used to be, and playing him has its costs in terms of their mobility on defense and their ability to spread the floor on offense. We can beat them with or without him.

Oh so Miami is gonna have the two most injured big men in the league?

I consider a Pacers-Heat series to be a 50-50 toss up at this point. With such a razor thin margin, even if Bynum went there and gave them a tiny bit of rebounding and interior scoring that could be enough to tilt the series.

Bynum's knees are excruciatingly painful. The only thing keeping him going is his contract.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Teams have to be under the cap enough to fit his $12,250,000 salary without going over. The only team that could claim him is Philadelphia, and they'd have to waive 5 players to do it.

I agree with Ric Bucher that Dan Gilbert would rather pay him and not play him then cut him and let him sign with Miami. Remember, Gilbert was one of the owners who threw a hissy fit when Chris Paul was traded to the Lakers.

To be honest, it's embarrassing for the NBA to have commentators as bad as the Boston Celtic ones.

Heinson was CBS's lead color commentary analyst during the 80's. He did the NBA finals for 4 straight seasons (of course the Celtics played in all four of them) before they cut him loose.

He and Tom Gormon have been doing Celtics games on TV since 1981. This is their 33rd season together. They've been the biggest local homer duo in the NBA since before many of us were even born.
