Apparently Norris Cole is allowed to just tackle people. Tough loss for the Bobkitties.

Not watching. Did Walker try to miss the third shot?

Yup, he banked it in... I don't know why these guys don't understand they need to miss off center. Or, do the Yao Ming...

Anthony Davis broken hand. Sucks for them, probably going to nose dive in standings, and will probably keep him out of all-star game.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Wow that does suck. He's been playing so well and really enjoyed watching him.

Philly has their pick in the draft unless it is top 5. That's tough. Anybody know how long he is out? 2 months? Maybe they should trade Tyreke and really try to tank if that is even possible to secure a top 5 pick. Better them getting it than Philly.

I get the sense that Woodsen's days as the Knick's Coach are numbered.

I'm sick of all this talk about teams tanking. Bulls are tanking, this team is tanking, whatever. Can we shut up about the tanking talk and just say the East is terrible?

A team could win 37 games and still make the Playoffs as a 7 seed. Possibly even win the Atlantic Division. 2/3 of the East are 'tanking.' Or maybe they're just terrible.

I don't think they are actually tanking, they are just bad. The bottom 4 of the East I think all had playoff hopes this year: Milwaukee, NYK, Brooklyn, and Cleveland. The others just didn't field good teams this year. The only tank job off the top of my head was a couple of years ago when half of the Warriors were "injured" and they got Harrison Barnes in the draft with the 7th pick because the pick was top-7 protected.

It sucks, but the league rewards it for the most part.

Last year the Bulls were able to persevere because they hoped that Rose would be back for the playoffs or at worst would be back for the start of this season (which is what ended up happening). They rallied around playing for D-Rose, but they were all under the impression that he would at worst be back at the start of this season. But him getting hurt again is just too much to handle for these guys. Yeah Tibbs is a great coach and yeah they still have some good players, but they are still human beings. Watching their teammate and friend go down again has to completely deflate them mentally. They know they don't have enough without him to get anywhere near the Conference Finals.

The Jimmy Butler injury doesn't help either. That guy is pretty good.

So the Russian went into Brooklyn's locker room with a ball peen hammer and sent the team a message on Pierce's hand, right?

How can analysts continue to discredit the Pacers start regarding only playing 4 Western teams? The Heat have only played the West THREE times (one of them being the "meh" Suns), but nobody is referencing that to discredit their hot start.

I understand that analysts are raving about the Pacers, but still some are questioning how much we have really been questioned. Does anyone do the same to the Heat, who's three losses came from teams we beat?

That said, I've never been more excited about a 5 game stretch in December. Begin the h8er challenge

    Two.
    Consecutive.
    Championships.

Miami's got the benefit of the doubt. And deservedly so. They've got virtually the same team back that won those titles.

(P.S. It is incredibly stupid to discredit the Pacers start.)

Finally a good show from Tim Duncan. 23pts in 10/15 FG, 21rebs, 2blks, and the game winning shot.

Pelicans-Bulls game is going into triple overtime. That's like a whole extra quarter of basketball.

Funny. They don't list "stealing from Indianapolis taxpayers" as the way Herb made his money.

Yup. On PTI they debated "if we went 81-1 would we be the favorites to win it all?" and Kornheiser or whatever said we could win them all by 45 and it'd still be Miami.

...and I agree basically. Miami is the favorite, but if we win every game by 45 I may reconsider.

He also said they've been there and proven they can win it all, and we haven't proven any thing. We clearly haven't proven we can win a championship, but I think we have proven we have the potential.
