I really don't understand why the Rockets and Pelicans don't just get an Asik for Anderson deal done and over with. Each player is exactly what the other team needs.
Because Asik>>> I agree with mr. White. Asik is much more valuable to the Rockets then Anderson would be. I am a big fan of both players, Asik does what you need to win big games IMO. The Rockets have plenty of shooting. Asik's rebounding defense and passing+screening is so important imo. Plus the Rockets only have 2 guys who really rebound(I guess Smith does as well)

There's no question Davis is an excellent defender, no one said he wasn't. But if he's supposed to guard the best post player, challenge shots in the paint, AND be a post scorer, you're putting a lot of pressure on the guy. Not that he can't handle it, but why not have a guy like Asik to take some of the load off?

IMHO....having 2 high quality Starting Centers like the Rockets is a luxury that not that many Teams can afford. I'm not sure what other weaknesses that the Rockets have.....but I think that trading Asik to address those weaknesses would make sense.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

Other than Indiana, all Eastern Conference teams have at least two losses.

The Clippers lost to Orlando. Not the biggest surprise but few would have expected that.

I certainly like this Dallas team better than what they had the previous two seasons.

Boston and Washington notched their first wins of the season. Only Utah and Denver remain winless.

And Philly's starting to lose badly.

Parker hit a huge shot over Plumlee. Bledsoe wasted that possession for the Suns. He shouldn't shot while he was slipping to the floor.

If I were a scoring guard, I would want Nowitzki on my team. He creates so many opportunities for his teammates.

The Suns inbounded the ball in the corner so the Suns players had nowhere to go. Green was forced to take a very tough shot that he missed, of course. Great D by the Spurs.

Score first, score first, score first. This is a big reason why I love Rubio and Rondo type of pg's.

What makes you think the Pelis want to give up Anderson for Asik? Davis is doing a pretty good job protecting the rim and playing in and out of the post.
They start Jason Smith & Davis is a 4. Asik is exactly what the Pelicans need.

Ryan Anderson however, doesn't do much for the Rockets that I can see.

I think Davis moves to the 5 when Anderson comes back.

Ryan Anderson made his cheddar playing next to Dwight and knocking down hoardes of three pointers in Orlando. No reason to think they couldn't replicate that. I don't think Howard/Asik is going to work. I do think Omer has a LOT of trade value though. My guess is the Rockets would rather send him to either a team in the Eastern Conference or to a crappy team in the West.

So Westbrook is super human only guy that does not need to remove "rust" after having surgery.

Finally Scott Brooks is playing OKC's young guys, granted he doesn't really have any other choice. Steven Adams looks pretty good.

He won't play him when it matters on the playoffs, his mancrush Perkins is going to play big minutes again.
