Default Pacers Vs. Heat - Post Game Thread - 5/26

I stopped watching the game after the 3rd QTR and thought that it was pointless to wait til the game is over.

    This series is over.

    Go Thunder or Spurs!

Someone the Offseason thread.....I'm too damn pissed off to look for it.

Awesome....the Refs blow the whistle with .1 seconds left in the game......just to prolong the Pacer fan's misery.

Well, it was good to see...um...well, at least next year...well, actually...

I got nothing I didn't have in the other thread I made. This team has nothing to sell me on anymore.

Easily the worst officiated game of the season. How can Miami sleep at night knowing they cheat to win?

We played like crap and they scored 19 more points from the free throw line. We cannot play so soft and expect to make a run against a team like this. They are too good and know how to get calls when they need to. We need to get better to beat them. wish we had lost earlier so we wouldn't have had to go through the farce of thinking we had a chance against this team. Man if i didn't like the Pacers and Spurs so much i wouldn't even watch. Oh wait, i don't.

This series isn't over, its close to it, and it would take a historic comeback, but it isn't over. Win game 5 at home, its not impossible we are at home, we can do it. Then, game 6, find a way, any damn way to win on Miami's court, and you are looking at a game 7 at home, not saying its likely, but don't look at it like win 3 in a row, win 2 in a row, and then you have a game 7 at home where ANYTHING can happen. I give us a 10% chance of winning.

    Like it matters...

Blame the Refs.....but if the Pacers showed up and played like the game matters....then I'd care that the Refs made a difference in the game.

I see what I've said all along, when we play speedy, athletic good shooting teams, we have to play smart, almost perfect ball to win. Never seen the Pacers as true contenders until we add some speed/athleticism and shooting. Hopefully a light bulb will go off in Larry's head that this grind it out, defensive philosophy is not good enough to win a championship. We need more team athleticism and shooting. The eye test still isn't there. Balls in your court Larry.

If nothing else, with everything that went on in this game, I appreciate that the Pacers fought to the end. It could have been a 30 point blow out, but they were right there (well, almost right there) with what should have been Lance's "and one".

anyone know the vegas odds of the pacers coming back to win the series now that they are down 3-1. especiaally against miami who are pretty hard to beat 3 times in a row.

do you think its more then 100-1 (1 out of 101 times)?

I used to be naive and turn a blind eye to the 2002 WCF or 2006 Finals, saying they couldn't possible be rigged and that the NBA was an awesome league. This game changed that. Something needs to change Silver, or your "product" will quickly fade away as people no longer want to watch a predetermined sports league

Why would the NBA even want the Pacers in the finals? Seriously, these guys come out and give a half hearted effort every third or fourth game, even when they know their season is on the line. For my money, give me a TEAM that leaves it on the floor every minute of every game. This half hearted, super cool effort stinks.

Pacers still haven't played Pacers defense not just this series but the entire playoffs. Also time for a new voice in the lockeroom or smarter players, just not fundamental basketball.

I admire your optimism.....but I have ZERO confidence that this Team can execute at an elite level ( cuz that is what they will have to do ) for 3 straight games. 1 game? Sure? 2 game on the road against an ELITE Team in the East? I doubt it.....3 games in a row against the same Team? I'm not gonna bet on it.

This forum is so embarrassing with this ref nonsense. Yes, Crawford's crew was awful. No, they were not in the top 10 reasons why the Pacers lost this one. The Pacers lost because they were the meek, wait-for-someone-else-to-solve-the-problem Pacers we've come to know far too often in the last few months.
