If this works properly, this should allow users to highlight the text they specifically want to quote, allowing them to instantly do so without having to first quote the ENTIRE post and then edit out what the undesired part.
I just spotted this and thought it might be nice if it works.
when I do a reply with quote I get a popup telling me to highlight whatever I want to quote or hit ok to quote it all. then I click ok to close the popup and it gives me the full post quoted in the quick reply box. kinda annoying if you just want to quote w/o splicing a post. if there's a way to turn that notification off that'd be cool.
there's a little...popup, mouseover?, that's not the right word but I don't know what is, context menu?, when you highlight something that lets you quick reply quote the highlighted stuff. that's good stuff.
