    Default Bucs release Josh Freeman

I never would've guessed the Bucs to have the soap opera team this season over the Jets

After a few days of earnest attempts to trade him, the Buccaneers got tired of waiting.

According to multiple reports, the Bucs are releasing quarterback Josh Freeman, putting an end to one of the strangest chapters in franchise history.

The week since they decided to bench him has been marked by one twist stranger than the next, but the Bucs ultimately decided to part ways and end it.

Frankly, it’s the best case scenario for Freeman, who now has some control over his next destination.

Cold blooded. They were going to contact every team. Market just doesn't seem to be there for him.

He may not be the answer, but Freeman sure as hell isn't either.

I still feel like schisms is more of the problem...freeman has the talent but to be honest the progression hasn't been there. You can say its his fault which is a large percentage true likely but look at his offense and then look at his coaches. Not the best bunch of offensive coordinators and neither head coach is good

Jay Glazer says Freeman'll decide tonight if he wants to go to Minnesota, Oakland, or Buffalo. I'd go with Minnesota if I was him.

That's an easy choice. Two un-winnable divisions vs. a slightly less un-winnable division?
