    Default Media Day Powerrankings

    http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-tr...power-rankings

This is hilarious. "There's a lot of guys that take a lot of bad shots in this league. A LOT OF GUYS. ... I'm going to play Monta basketball." - Monta Ellis

Monta basketball! Can other people play Monta Basketball? J.R. Smith and Brandon Jennings definitely play Monta basketball. Same with Nick Young. But none of them have ever defended it quite so perfectly. It's like saying that a lot of guys crash their cars A LOT OF GUYS so give me the keys, I don't care how drunk I am.

Long live Monta Basketball. We need to get that quote stitched onto a pillow.

Monta would've won everything, too, but

The look on his face when they said the mic was live was priceless. This brings up the question though, why would you ever give a hot mic to an athlete without warning them they were on live? Funny clip but really felt a little bad for Evan there as he was just trying to be funny.

Should Evan Turner ever be on a team that wins the title, he needs to scream that at centercourt ala KG's "Anything is possiblllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeee!!!" after winning the title in '08.

I do feel bad for him too. If I'm in his position I wouldn't even know that it's live and might do some crazy things unaware that the broadcast is already rolling. I mean, the host wasn't even ready yet for the interview.

But he succeeded in being funny though. Hope the others who watched it just also find it funny (I expect some people might find it offensive).

God, it had been so long since I'd last heard Evan Turner speak, I forgot he sounds like Greg the Alien:

That is Loser Talk right there. I would never want a guy like that on my team.

Are you guys aware that Roy Hibbert is leading the "MuscleWatch" list. This is not something to be proud of, as this is a great site that keeps track of all the players who usher out the cliche's of "put on xyz pounds of muscle."

I just honestly don't care what list he's on or isn't on. All I care about is what he does on the court.

The dunk was pretty dang cool. Too bad it's all downhill from there for the Kings.

i disagree, this year will be better for the Kings and the fans just because they know the team is here to stay. They won't be good on the court, but they weren't last year either.
