You do a great job on these...
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

EXCELLENT!!! And you guys are from Muncie?

    Good music man ..

I been looking for a band myself for quite some time...

I'm a rapper/hip hop artist and producer ... I also have excellent studio engineering skills..

Have put out 2 group LP's , 3 EP's , 2 "Best of.... remix cd's " out under the name SyckSyde under my former independent label my groupmates and I founded "3rd Shift Entertainment" aka 3SE

Also each individual artist (7 of us in total) in Sycksyde has put out their own cd , including myself under the name Icepick Willie ...

and that is just for THAT particular genre .. which is called "Horrorcore"

Then we also have all done many cd's with our regular rap/hip hop material under the name "Midwest Suspex" , with quite a few solo cd's as well that spawned from that..

What I'm looking for, is to bring together a group that could best be described as follows:

I want to bring together a band that has certain elements fused as 1 and made our own ..
Slayer/Pantera/80's Metallica/Megadeth type sound with both a Metal vocalist (no wussy singing a'la linkin park lol) and rapper (being myself)

As far as the content, would be basically like putting a horror movie into audio form.. Would talk alot about the following....
apocalyptic scenerios....conspiracy stuff, war , and socio-political commentary as well ... Would be some concept songs , maybe even a whole album on certain subjects previously mentioned..

To sum it up, a Metal/ horrorcore rap band , with mainstream appeal (a'la white Zombie), because we would be too damn good to NOT get attention .. lol

That's what I want to do...

I have alot of connections , but in order to actually use those connections, I have to actually have a group with a plan and an album ...

I'm still doing the rap thing, but it is a whole hell of alot harder with smaller opportunities for a rap group to break into the industry...

Sorry for blabbin about myself... but I did want to re-iterate that I was impressed with your band's music...

I'd definitely like to link up with you guys and network...

    Peace..

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

    @pianoman

Nice stuff. Your band's music is good. I'm not a big fan of the vocal style as I prefer my clean vocals to have more power and my growls to be deeper and filithier but I enjoyed it overall. So, good job

So, you're basically inspired by Necro?

I might have mentioned this in the forum but I used to be the vocalist of a Atmospheric Black/Death Metal band until recently (the band is currently on hiatus).

Anyway, I have a similar vision to yours. Apart from Metal (which, of course, is my favorite genre) I listen to many other genres including Punk, Electro, Rap etc. I was in touch with a rapper that is quite known in the political rap scene of my country and we used to talk about creating a side-project. The idea was to incorporate aggressive punk drumming (he had a friend who was a drummer in a punk band) with tremolo riffs, Black Metal shrieking and rapping. That happened a long time ago and the project didn't go through since I was forced to relocate due to my university studies.

However, creating an amalgalm of metal (especially extreme metal) and rap is a concept that always will intrigue me.

    Good luck with your efforts
