Watching the talent in this SF/GB game makes you wonder if we can compete with the talent of teams like this. Possible overreaction from our bad showing earlier, but still. These teams play hard, tackle well, are physical and uber athletic

(I know we beat GB last yr)

No, I don't think we are a premier team yet, if that's what you're asking.

I think we have a premier playmaker though....

It's not even a matter of being a premier team, that's obviously not the case. I mean COMPETE lol. Have a good showing, not get dominated on the road.

We will see. Like I said, most likely an overreaction from a deflating first game. Just surprised me how bad and ordinary we looked

If SF comes back all we will hear is how Kappernick picked the GB defense apart.

Dont get me wrong, he is a monster, but I think Rex Grossman could pick this secondary apart.

The Packers defense has a lot of work to do.

I can't believe that the Niners got Boldin for a sixth round draft pick. Jeez, talk about a Harbaugh family discount.

Typical Eli. Can play like a God in the playoffs/Super Bowl, but does dumb stuff in regular season games.

Cowboys-Giants looks like a battle of incompetence. Niners-Packers should have been the Sunday Night game.

See that feeling you just expressed there about Kaepernick? That's how fans of EVERY OTHER TEAM feel about RGIII. Just so you know...

I'm watching the Lions/Vikes game from earlier. I can tell you right now, if teams keep using a safety to hold Calvin Johnson down, Reggie Bush is going to have an MVP caliber season. There's no way on earth you're going to stop him only putting 6 in the box. And if you bring your safety up, Megatron is going to eat the single coverage alive.

Did u really just speak for every fan base. LOL

RG3 (and WAS) in general got plenty lucky last yr, but neither they (nor anyone else in the leage) played 16 bad teams.

what an end to the GB-SF. And i haven't even turned on the SNF game but all the highlights on my phone make me glad i havent. Can both teams lose?

I don't have an issue with RG3 I mean I didn't want him on the Colts because Luck was a better long term solution but I find CK more annoying than RG3 and I hate the Skins more than the Niners

Fan Falls, Dies at 49ers-Packers Game in SF

SAN FRANCISCO September 9, 2013 (AP)

    Associated Press

A football fan fell from an elevated pedestrian walkway and died at San Francisco's Candlestick Park during the 49ers-Green Bay Packers game.

San Francisco police spokesman Gordon Shyy (SHY) says multiple people witnessed the man's fall onto a sidewalk from the Jamestown walkway, which goes around Candlestick.

According to police, witnesses say the man appeared intoxicated when he fell just after kickoff at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the 49ers' 34-28 win over the Packers. Off-duty medics and police officers gave him first aid until an ambulance arrived, but the man was declared dead from his injuries.

Shyy says the man who appeared to be in his 30s suffered serious injuries. It was not immediately clear how many feet he had fallen.

His identity is being withheld until the medical examiner notifies his family.

No, I said what I think other fans think based on observations. That's not the same thing as speaking for anyone but then again, you know that and are just trying to defend your boy while complaining about the qualities he shares with others. As usual.

Unfortunately in most of these it is the person who has fallen who has been to blame. People need to take care of themselves and not put themselves at risk.

I actually like CK. he just finds a way to get things done. But like i said last year, damn near all the rookie class of WB's was impressive.

I'm pretty impressed with Kaepernick's arm. Jimbo's decision to roll with Kaepernick has turned out to be brilliant. That team is just loaded.

Man, you're a real piece of work. Next time you complain about another QB getting media attention, as you did when you lamented that all we would hear about is how Kaepernick picked Green Bay apart, please remember who your QB is and how badly you've busted everyone's balls around here for getting sick of his national media love fest. RGIII will get more media exposure thank Kaepernick if he LOSES tomorrow night. Oh and BTW, I didn't mention Luck at all so I'm not exactly sure how I was defending my boy. Glass houses yo.

I bet that the Giants come back and win this game. This would be a classic Dallas loss.

Kaepernick wasn't a rookie, he sat his entire rookie year behind Alex Smith. people seem to forget he's a year more experienced than Luck, RG3, and Wilson.
