Philly has a real chance to run the table. They have a pretty easy schedule and look really sharp right now.

I'd definitely throw my money down on Philly winning the NFC Least. Dallas will have a catastrophic choke at the end of the season. It's pretty much the most predictable thing ever.

In fact, the Cowboys host Philly in the final game of the season. I'm predicting an epic choke in front of the hometown fans that gives Philly the division. Of course, that's akin to predicting that the sun will rise tomorrow.

So anyone in the Indy area getting a game at all? I'm not on WISH TV instead they're showing endless weather coverage as if its porn. Instead of an actual game and nothing scrolling at the bottom.

You know damn well if this was a Colts game they'd never do this.

Fox 59 isn't much better sure they have a split screen but with the weather guy talking they might as well not bother either.

Unless they're reporting deaths or you know actual damage I don't see the point to this coverage beyond a scroll at the bottom.

This coverage now makes more sense I was referring to the stuff from earlier when it didn't even cross the Indiana border. That to me was excessive.

Terrible stuff going on there though.

Vick is gone as a starter he would only start if Foles gets hurt

I like Foles too, but running the table seems an out-of-reach accomplishment for a team with one home win in 12 months.

The NFC Least is pretty bad they just need 8-9 wins to win that division and they already have 6

The Lions blew that game against the Steelers who I picked to win that game anyways so far the only game I got wrong was the Redskins/Eagles...

It's crazy to think that the Falcons were just one play away from the Super Bowl last year. This team is absolutely disgraceful. I know that losing Julio Jones hurt, but they also weren't winning at the beginning of the season when he played. There's no excuse for this team being this bad.

I personally do not care, but it is weird this has happened twice to the Redskins in the last year + (the last time being when D hall was ejected from the Steelers game, and it later came out the ref cursed him out). Apparently the NFL had some players mic'd up, and they have publicly said they are investigating this issue

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/99...ial-cussed-out

PHILADELPHIA -- Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams said umpire Roy Ellison cussed him out during a drive late in the first half Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, an accusation teammates backed.
Williams said Ellison walked by him after a play and called him a "garbage-***, disrespectful motherf-----."

So happy to see the Jets losing by a wide margin and Geno Smith adding 3 more INTs to his tally.

So right now you have to consider Carolina, SF and Chicago as 2 of the 3 teams that will get the Wild Card spot. Of course Arizona has an outside chance (mathematically much greater as they share the same record with 49ers now) and maybe Green Bay if Rodgers returns quickly. Shapes up to be a good battle.

oh im not thinking about vs Vick, but I mean moving forward. I was thinking the Eagles would draft a QB in the first round with this class, but Foles is impressive.

Six times in his career, Peyton Manning has faced the top scoring defense in the second half of the season or in the playoffs. In those games, his teams went 3-3, with Manning giving up eight interceptions while throwing just six touchdowns and averaging 201.8 passing yards per contest -- well below his average of 361 yards this season.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all networks now have secondary channels? Surely the best thing to do would be to keep the weather on the primary channels, move the games to one of the secondary channels, and place a scroll bar on the primary channel telling football fabs about the switch.

    Anyway, here's this:

Can't say I agree with the categories, but I think philly's location is the main point.

That and I'm just glad I'm not in the lowest circle.

I think this Denver-KC game started six hours ago. I've never seen a two score game take so long to finish.

No they just showed weather entirely for the most part I mean I did see the end of the Ravens/Bears game which is really all that matters I just think they need to only report when actual damage occurs coverage of a storm when it hasn't even crossed the state seems kind of excessive to me when all of the stations were doing it. Its a storm which unfortunately caused a lot of damage but it wasn't even the worst storm this state has experienced either.

The Packers without Rodgers are reminding me of the Colts without Peyton a couple years ago.

Course we all know Rodgers won't be replaced.

    Biggest penalty of the season:

Instead of recovering a fumble that could have given them the opportunity to ice the game, the Niners were flagged for a 15 yard penalty for that hit and the Saints ended up tying. The Saints ended up winning the game.

Pretty bad call, IMO. Looks like he hit him the upper chest/collarbone area to me, not the neck. No call illustrates the watering down of football more than this one. This could cost the Niners big time at the end of the season.

It looks to me like his bicep catches Brees right on the side of the neck, then he pulls back away from the neck, grabbing onto the left shoulder. Tough break, but the right call by the rule IMO.

It looks to me like Brees's neck goes into the bicep because of the whiplash from the hit to the chest. In other words, the defender wasn't the one putting his bicep into the neck, IMO.

This has been analyzed this morning as if it's the Zapruder film. It's certainly close per the rule. These rules have gone too far when you get a penalty for a hit like that which costs you the game and potentially a playoff spot. I don't think there would have been much outcry outside of New Orleans if that flag hadn't been thrown.

Brees's small height gives him an advantage in that it's obviously super difficult for a defender to lay a "clean" hit on him. If that's someone as tall as Manning or Brady, then there's no way that defender gets anywhere close to the neck.

Several years ago, that defender would have given Brees a wicked helmet to helmet hit. So it's good that the rules have cut down on that. But the rules have gone too far when you penalize players for hits like that, IMO.

Report: Rahim Moore to miss several weeks with leg injury

The Broncos handed the Chiefs their first loss of the 2013 season on Sunday night, but Denver didnít make it through the game unscathed.

Safety Rahim Moore left in the second quarter with a lower left leg injury, didnít return to the game and, according to a report from Joan Niesen and Mike Klis of the Denver Post, wonít be returning for the next few games either. Thereís no word on the specific injury, but it is reportedly serious enough to keep Moore on the sideline for several weeks.

Moore has started all 10 games for the Broncos so far this season, recording 44 tackles and two interceptions. While the Broncos defense has had its rough patches, Moore has avoided any plays reminiscent of his botched coverage late in last yearís playoff loss to the Ravens. With trips to New England and Kansas City in the next two weeks, itís hardly an ideal moment for the Broncos to find themselves down a starting safety.

Mike Adams replaced Moore on Sunday night and David Bruton is also on the roster to help out in Mooreís absence.

I don't think it is close, by the rule. If there is any contact with the head or neck, then it is a penalty. It doesn't matter if that contact happened by the whiplash effect, or wasn't intended, or wasn't that bad, or only happened becuase a tall guy tackled a short guy, or whether it was a game-changing play or not, or even whether the player tackled ducked or not.

It is up to the defender to adjust his hit. Unfair? Absolutely. Called by the rules? Absolutely.
