I feel bad for whoever draws New Mexico state in the first round. The have a NBA level athlete on the wing in Daniel Mullings(If he improves next year he could become an NBA player) and one gigantic human being in Bhullar. I watched them beat New Mexico this year and they can match up well with a variety of teams. I would hate to draw them in the 1st rd deep good basketball team.
I really hate watching HAVOC, but I will admit it makes teams do some really stupid things. I think the Pitino pressure game is much better on the eye and more effective, but Louisville also has better players.
I thought the Sun Belt final was yesterday. It is today Harrow and Georgia St taking on Elfrid Payton and the Ragin Cajuans. It is on ESPN2. I would tune in if you have never watched Payton play kid he is a ball to watch. Great handle feel for the game. I don't and passer. Nice to see Ron Hunter coaching on national Tv he made IUPUI a respectable program.
His son and Ryan Harrow are playing really good this year. Watching Payton guard RJ Hunter is fun that is a hell of a battle.
Interesting. I can not comment on facilities, but I do live here in the south and let me tell you, the recruiting base is 5000X better in Indianapolis. In Indy not only do you have great hoops in the city, you have great hoops in the entire state. Also, Chicago, Louisville and Cincinnati are just a hop, skip and jump away. I know there are obviously schools to compete with in the Midwest, but dang, there are tons of players.
In the south you get hotbeds such as Atlanta and Charlotte (to some extent), but rural areas just aren't anywhere close to what the Midwest is. I bet Hunter still relies on the Midwest to get a lot of players.
Ryan Harrow just made 6 incredible plays. That English layup was just ridiculous. Neither team has any size guards doing whatever they want.
GO CRAZY FOLKS WHAT A SEQUENCE!!!!
Starts with Payton finally being put on Harrow great adjustment. Harrow couldn't get the shot off over the length.

This is so fun. Payton with the great defense. He has a rare skill. Not many players can go wherever they want on the floor whenever they want. Best player in college at that IMO.
Wow VCU is playing a close game. That is a change.

This game brought up another rule I hate. I wish the NBA had the 1 and 1 brings so much stradgey in play. The Cajuans almost lost that game because they couldn't hit the front end of a 1 and 1 it really is a huge difference.
The NIT is going to be mid major city all the #1 losing might knock a lot of the big conference teams out.

Nebraska and Iowa in? Wiscy a #2? Way too much credit for the BIG.
The committee was not impressed by the American Athletic lol. Louisville a #4 seed? Kinda sucks not to see SMU get in.
I do agree with the CBS crew that Michigan St. is the strongest BIG team.
I guess I'm the only person in America who is not wholly enamored with Florida. The SEC was pathetic this season. They can be beat.
Louisville in Wichita's bracket's rough
Louisville a 4 seed? That's rough. At least they are in the Indy bracket again.
all the Indiana schools should just have our own tournament
Post your upsets!
trying for that Billion dollar bracket challenge. I've got Louisville over Wichita St. right now.
I've got Michican St. and Louisville in the championship game.
Is Michigan for real this year? 2 seed seems kind of high for them. But i don't see any other team on their half of the bracket that makes me think they won't be meeting Louisville in the Elite 8. Will they get beat by Duke?
When is Syracuse gonna get upset?
You can't get champagne from a garden hose.
The popular trend atm is picking Michigan State to win the title.
My Final 4 is Kansas, Iowa State, Arizona, and Louisville with Louisville beating Kansas for the title.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."
