I don't understand why people get in such a fuss over storming the court. Who goes to universities? Mainly 18-22 year old kids. What do 18-22 year old kids like to do? Have fun and drink. What do 18-22 year old kids do for big sporting events at their schools? They drink. What is the cherry on top of the sundae when you beat your arch rival? Running out onto the floor and celebrating with a bunch of other like-minded college students. They are making memories; they will always remember stuff like that. Let them have it.
Rushing the court should be saved for worth while wins. Simply beating a rival isn't enough.
I didn't have a problem with IU storming the court after being Kentucky two years ago, because of the pure emotion of how they won and being so far down in the dumps the years leading up to it. I know UNC isn't having a typical UNC year, but they aren't anywhere near being lowly enough to get that much satisfaction out of beating Duke. They expect those types of wins. You don't storm the court for living up to expectations. It takes the magic out of it.
“Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.” ― Ricky Gervais.
What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?
For what it is worth I love Iowa St, Virginia, and Michigan State come March madness. It is going to be crazy to call this season.
Virginia has been my favorite team all year. When you defend like they do alway have a chance. I think the Shockers are a team who is so underrated. I respect Izzo but saying the Shockers would be 6th in the big 10 is a joke. If he truly believes that there is something wrong imo. Louisville is my sleeper in the tournament playing the best ball in the past few weeks. I still want to see how teams finish the season before I pick my favorite.
IUPUI fired Todd Howard, knew they were bad but didn't realize they were 6-26 bad
They were awful really unwatchable. Almost got 50 balled by IUPUF Wonder if the new facility will make that job semi-attractive. That was a really bad job, but with new facilities it becomes a little better. I might look at the HS ranks if I was their AD.
