And in the Feel Good News Dept ...............

    http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bask...exhibition-win

Louisville's Kevin Ware played Wednesday in his first game since suffering a gruesome broken leg 220 days ago against Duke.

Ware entered the exhibition contest against Pikeville at the Yum! Center to a standing ovation. He made his first shot, a 3-pointer, and finished with six points and four rebounds in 10 minutes.

These new foul rules are absolutely horrible. I just turned on the IU game and there have been foul calls on 3 of the 4 possessions I've seen. All 3 were very soft calls. Games are way too slow now, and it is going to hurt teams who play physical.

I'm all for the rule changes. Yeah it's going to be an ugly first half of the year or so, but they'll adjust. NCAA ball was turning into football on hardwood, the Big Ten especially.

Giving the already ****** college officials more influence on the game? Get out of here with that ****.

Watching two games of a team full of IU freshman doing dumbass freshman things, watching UK/Sparty is similar. Izzo is coaching circles around Calipari. Talented freshmen are still freshmen.

Michigan goes down in Ames, and I can't say I'm surprised. Iowa State is legit, and Hoiberg is a hell of a coach. Kudos to Beilein for having the stones to even schedule a game like that this early in the season.

Also, in other shocking news, the refs blowing whistles on every ******* play is getting really old.

I haven't seen any of it, but apparently this North Dakota - WISCONSIN game is at a torrid pace. Badgers up 103-85 with about a minute to go, Kaminsky has 43.

I've only screamed while watching two teams I don't care about play twice in my life- the first was when Crabtree made that game winning TD catch against Texas in 2008 and today at the end of the Iron Bowl. Unbelievable ending.

'Bama fans are probably in suicide mode but the sane ones will realize tomorrow that they are 11-1 and won 3 of the last 4 national titles. They are the best dynasty in the BCS era.

Saban made a ton of really questionable calls in that game. Dare I say the legendary coach cost them the game?

Nobody's perfect. Sadly, knowing 'Bama fans, there will be a few that want Saban fired.

The kicking game has always been 'Bama's achilles heel under Saban. You'd think he'd be able to get a competent kicker considering he has every other position stacked with highly ranked recruits.

The winner of the Missouri - Auburn game should get one of the two spots in the BCS title game. The question, to me, is whether the other spot should go to Florida State or Ohio State, should both win Saturday.
    UncleBuck:

"See how stupid those fans sound complaining about the officials. That is one reason why I hate when Pacers fans complain about the refs - does not come across well at all, no matter the merit. "

Florida State, to me, is a 100% shoe in for the title game if they beat Duke in the ACC Title game. I really don't think you can jump Mizzou or Auburn over an undefeated Ohio State team either, even if the B1G isn't that strong. I actually do think Michigan State will take down the Buckeyes next week at Lucas Oil though.

I'm not because then it's another all SEC title game. Auburn/Mizzou winner and Bama. No thank you.

The auburn return was a crazy play, but I'm wondering why we never saw a review on the sideline. He got really close to stepping out.

They did show it on TV several times--it was pretty clear he stayed in bounds.
