You guys see where Ronnie Johnson and Jeremy Hollowell are talking about transferring to the same school next year? Interesting.
    Ron Patterson too, allegedly.

Well, IUPUI will have a new coach and a patently awful team, so hey, go home!

Apparently Auburn is one of the schools that is interested in a package duo for those two. Of course

Word is, he thought the classes are too easy there. Just don't provide the intellectual stimulation he was used to at IU summer school.

I think it will be hard to entice scoring guards here with Stephens and Scott looking to get a lot of the reps, as well as Dakota.

But we will see, did he mention a reason for transferring?

Are you serious? The guy was B12 POY candidate. You think he would be scared by Stephens as competition? Let alone Scott?

edit: great take on another board:
"I'd be happy to have him, but does he have a sick uncle or something so he can play right away?"

LOL I just saw the quote, what a joke!

did Painter even really yank him for bad plays? I thought it was mostly standard substitution patterns. Either way, RJ was lucky that he had a thoroughly incompetent backup...

Remember the 90s when IU and Purdue were like UK and Louisville now? Not quite the success with the banners, but facing off as top 10 teams, great players, legendary coaches...****. It's impossible not to live in the past as an IU fan. Now I'm even missing Purdue being good with us. fml

Oh wow, he must have really improved, he was not that spectacular of a player coming out of HS. Maybe he could be a Etwaun Moore type, how is his D now, just wondering.

I remember him when he played for indiana elite, I think I remembered overhearing that he wasn't getting as much offers as he had hoped, but this might have been before his senior year. He has added a lot more bulk in that time which is a good thing, I think it will be hard to entice scoring guards here with Stephens and Scott looking to get a lot of the reps, as well as Dakota.

Eron Harris is a better college player by a wide margin than any player in the Purdue program.

The huge red flag is why the F is he transferring? Not sure he would have any valid reason. He had it made at WV. They were going to be a threat in the Big 12 next year with all the talent coming back. I don't get it, I haven't researched the reasons, but the kid can really score.

Doesn't seem like he has really given going to the draft a bunch of thought, he will probably have a more indepth talk with Painter soon, but sounds to me that he needs to stick around one more year.

I imagine he'll put his name in and get some feedback, same way JJ did. I think if he gets any reports about potentially being in the first round he's gone, he'll be 22 by the time next basketball season starts, we all know youth only helps in the draft.

With true centers I don't think the age thing is as big of a factor since most take a while to develop in the NBA anyways, if he gets some type of top 20 projection probably, but I really doubt it.

I don't want to make it sound like I expect him to be a be a one and done All Conference kid or anything like that, but I'm pretty damn high on Jacquil Taylor. Best kid out of our class from day one kinda high.

    ^let's hope so.

I do know the expectations the fans are putting on this stringbean Haas kid are unrealistic. I already have nightmares of him trying to rebound against Michigan State.

If the morons (no offense) who think the team will be better off without AJH get their way, we will ALL be crying for Hammons by mid-year.

edit: though maybe I'm a moron too, because I think the loss of RJ is not a bad thing.

If Hammons leaves we're battling Rutgers for the worst team in the conference
