He's really saying the opposite though: saying that Purdue, Carter included, are $h!+ at $hooting, and what are the odds they got hot against IU? Saying that the plan was to shut down the post and dare PU to beat them from the outside.

LewJack's puttin up 10/7/4 in the D League on good percentages. Probably won't happen but him getting a shot on a 10 day deal would make me incredibly happy.

If Barea can play, Lew can make a roster at least.

I went to the game last night and still had a good time even though the Boilers lost. I went to the IU game Saturday and had a blast. That was my first game ever at Mackey. I live just over an hour from there and I can't believe I had never gone to a game. My tickets for the IU game were $100 apiece but I got 2 tickets last night for $7 apiece on stubhub. Glenn Robinson spoke at halftime and said his son was going to Purdue next year.

I've never really been partial to either school however I went to IPFW and my degree actually from Indiana University, but since I didn't attend IU Bloomington I really don't feel any loyalty toward the Hoosiers. I really enjoyed how intimate Mackey was and there's not a bad seat there. I'm seriously considering buying season tickets next year. There's a lot of great places to eat close to the arena, parking is free, and the traffic wasn't terrible. I guess I've kind of transformed into a Purdue fan over the last week, but getting to experience it live really opened my eyes to how much fun it is and what I've been missing.

brutally tough loss for Zo today...if he barely misses the NCAA again I think those 'neck UT fans are going to run him out of town after 3 years...
I'd probably trade him for Painter straight up, especially given their respective salaries

I love Zo, but I'm not about to say I'd take him over Painter. But if things don't work out in Knoxville he's more than welcome to come recruit. There's a really odd contingent of Volunteer fans that are still completely devoted to Pearl. I sorta get it, I guess, Pearl's a great college coach and I don't really give a **** about his violations cuz **** the NCAA, but the guy has a show cause, he got fired. It'd be like IU fans still pining for Sampson, which they obviously aren't, it's just really weird.

yeah, the pining for Pearl is understandable, but there is a separate contingent of fans that is just hateful...

I think I'd take him over MP for 1) recruiting 2) defense 3) discipline 4) hustle. His offense is sometimes tough to watch, so that is a wash, at best.

this team's so incredibly ****ing dumb, so damn frustrating. it's not a talent issue, we have skilled players. but they're all ****ing stupid. and that's on you Painter.

^ don't see all that talent...most of the players can't shoot, guards can't make post entry passes, RJ can't go right...Smotherman and Davis have minimal offensive skill...etc etc etc

not saying we've got Final 4 talent or anything like that, but plenty to not be looking at back to back CBI's

^it's hard to tell where to draw the line between "dumb" and "talent"...all those dumb Ronnie and Terone shots would be less stupid if they were better at making them...

We are more athletic and longer than we have been in the past, but actual skill/talent...I'm not sure
