The Bulls visit BLF for a preseason game on Oct 5.

Maybe that's common knowledge. Have the Pacers released a preseason schedule?

Pacers always seem to start out on road...going to guess Pacers @ 76ers. I've always wanted to guess an opening night game lol.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Honestly I think its going to be @Orlando or home against Pelicans.

Pacers always requested they have their first home game on Saturday night, so they can sell it out

Figured we would be having more leaks about the schedule...
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

    - Sunday, Oct. 13 vs. Rockets (Taipei, Taiwan)

    - Friday, Oct. 18 vs. Bulls (United Center)

    - Saturday, Oct. 19 vs. Cavaliers (Quicken Loans Arena)

    - Tuesday, Oct. 22 vs. Hawks (Philips Arena)

That is weird, I guess the overseas trip has changed the schedule and essentially those are treated as home games and instead of 8 games, we only have 6.

Spoiled much? A month and a half is not a long time considering everything that goes into scheduling.

As will I. I wouldn't mind seeing a game with Deadshot again, but I'll probably show up anyway.

I predict the Pacers will start with a road game opening night, maybe against San Antonio? I think that could be a fun, maybe like Indiana @ San Antonio and Memphis @ Miami. Flip the NBA finals games.

Our home game start is usually against a mediocre Eastern Conf team, maybe host the Wizards or something.

Well I just wanna know how much the Pacers are gonna be on TNT/ESPN. I imagine we've earned the Lakers spot now? The Lakers are really gonna suck this season. Kobe won't be in at the start of the season. Metta and D12 are gone. Nash is a year older, and they've added Nick Young as their premier free agent. I know every game they play vs. Houston will be televised, but there's no need for Lakers all week anymore is there?

I will predict we will get 8 true national games (ESPN and TNT) with another 3-4 on NBATV and a possible 2-3 being optioned in as the season goes.

If broadcast TV games were done fairly then yes you would be correct. However LA still is a huge TV market and the Lakers are still a compelling story even if they suck because of all of the post Dwight drama and now the Bryant return.

So while your idea makes some logical sense, sadly it won't happen. In fact we already know that Miami & LA Lakers play Christmas day game (NBA's national tip off game) so believe me you won't be seeing any less Lakers this year. It will take Bryant's retirement and several years of being like Boston was back in the 90's for LA to lose national TV coverage.

Not really at all. They have to coordinate 29 different arenas which usually have a WNBA, NHL, or some other kind of team also as a tenant, as well as concerts and other events. It's pretty incredible that it can happen this quickly, even with scheduling computer programs.
