    Default Rot in Hell yahoo.mail

Shut me down and lock me out for 24 hrs......that's my business mail aholes. Why are you demanding I change my password twice in the same week and 3 times in 2 weeks?

I'm going to a pay service where I make the rules for my mail.

Yahoo mail has been a real pain lately. I was automatically switched to the new format against my preferences, and I almost missed an important meeting tonight because I couldn't access the conference link via e-mail.

Things are looking up in general for Yahoo, but their mail service is worse. It was great because of its simplicity.

I have gmail now and I'll use it for business but am considering Reagan mail for personal/friends/family use.

    Or vice verse

Hotmail for junk mail and signing up for contests
    Yahoo for friends
    Gmail for work and friends

I don't really like Gmail, but it certainly useful. There are things that really frustrate me. I just hate trying to find old emails. I think the search function sucks. On top of that, if I go to Sent mail and try to find an email I had recently sent, sometimes it won't be there, cause if the person replies to that email it automatically goes to your inbox. WTF!!! I just want to find the email I sent. Sometimes I don't realize if something has been replied too and the search function sucks. Just keep all the emails I send in the Sent folder for farks sake. Argh!

My work email from my last job was through yahoo business mail (employer's choice not mine). I had to create a personal yahoo account to get access to the business account. A year after I quit that job, I was still using the personal account, which got hacked somehow. Even though I no longer had access to any of the business emails or contacts, spam emails still somehow got sent out to all of my old business contacts (including upper management). THAT was embarrassing, getting asked by my old bosses why I was sending them porn links.

Agreed. Yet gmail gets way less spam then I ever did with hotmail.

Haven't used yahoo since high school

I use Gmail for all my work stuff. Yahoo is unreliable, easy to hack, and spam for days.

I get asked to change my Yahoo password at least once a week.

Why not just install something like Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail on your desktop? Both are free programs, by the way. You can receive your Gmail through either of those, and set up sub-folders (name them as you please) and filters to make mail from certain addresses go to those folders. You can "drag & drop" messages to your heart's content. It really is easier than it sounds, and you can keep your mail very well sorted. They will also import your Gmail contacts, and you can sort those into various contact collections (such as personal and business) so everything is right there.
