Ballard and Bradshaw are obviously 100% safe. Williams is a rookie with the ability to return, so he'll stay. Havili is a fullback that we went out of our way to trade for. He's staying. It comes down to Brown and Carter. I'm leaning towards Carter being cut because of his fumblitis and injuries, but Brown being cut might save more money. If I knew the cap implications I could probably be more confident in my prediction.
My guess is Carter will be the odd man out. I like having Brown as a change of pace guy to Ballard/Bradshaw especially if we can use him in the screen game and draw plays to get him into open space. Brown can definitely move when in open space, but the problem is getting him to that open space where he fails.
