Why the **** are we screwing with these other two jokers while Roberson rots on the bench?

45-7 to 45-28 in less than 2 minutes of game time.

All right, things are looking better. Kofi Hughes just blew up the ISU defense all by himself on that drive. IU back up by 31.

After what that ISU punk did to Shane Wynn I am glad we are running up the score.

73 points- a new single game record for IU.

Yes, college football needs to change rules to keep clock moving.

Wouldn't say the IU defense set it on fire, but they're only on the hook for 1/2 of the 28. Offense looking good.

Much better result given the opponent as opposed to last season. And I would say we at least look more legitimate from size, speed standpoint.

    See where it goes.

I don't even know what to take away from this game. IU is making up players and putting them in. Sudfeld's stats sure look pretty.

After one game, the quarterback situation remains every bit as puzzling as it was 24 hours ago. If we are going to play a pocket passer, for the love of everything sacred and holy in life let it be Sudfeld. That kid has an NFL future.

Just saw that hit on Wynn for the first time. **** that noise. That was dirty. He deserved the ejection, and he deserves to sit out the first half of the next game.

Roberson got hurt (bruised ribs, I'm guessing on the long pass to Wynn, Wilson said they probably could have put him back in if they needed him) so it sounds like there may not be a true QB controversy and if there is split time it sounds like it will be Roberson and Sudfeld.

Wow, I just saw the hit. I don't even know what you do about that in terms of punishment. That is one of the dirtiest hits I have ever seen. You can see him size Wynn up and you can see Wynn is not looking at him at all.

Jesus you can see this ******* laughing about it on the sidelines before he is taken off. Kick him off the team before he kills someone.

Gotta be honest, I was hoping IU would put up 100+ after that hit. It really deserves a suspension. ISU writers trying to rationalize that Reed's punch was just as dirty. Please. Reed's punch was idiotic and deserved an ejection, but it wasn't in the same realm of dangerous as Aviles' hit on Wynn.

You have to be a complete dickbag to pull a move like that, even if you are getting thumped.

For what it's worth, Indiana State's head coach apologized to Wilson for the hit in the post game handshake. Wilson could have easily hung 80+ on them but showed some class kneeling at the end. I'm interested to see how we perform against Navy next week.

Regardless, this is the most interested I've probably ever been in IU football. Tons of returning players, a dynamite offense, quarterback roulette, and some very interesting true freshmen who could make an impact this year.

Speaking of which, Darius Latham looked every bit as good as advertised last night.

Couple of thoughts from the other side of the field:
Sudfield should be your QB- guy can flatout throw the to Rock.
Defense MUCH better than last year- Shakir got hurt but it was a much better job on him than last year. our coaching staff was babying him in the preseason and I think it led to him being tentative and well not conditioned to take live action hits.
Great talent on the perimeter- It looks very good for you guys on the outside.
Dirty hits- that was a bit of a dirty but Lets be honest chippy on both sides. Avilles will probably be suspended for the purdue game. Young kid Sanford will straighten him up a little bit.

Avilles is automatically suspended for the first half of the game next week because of the new targeting rule

"A bit" of a dirty hit? I'm sorry. You can't compare chippiness on both sides to deliberately launching yourself at a defenseless player's helmet. It was a scumbag move. And to boast about it on Twitter (ISU Fball had to shut him down, sure coach isn't pleased) just proves the kid learned nothing, will remain a scumbag.

If anything it could be explained more as a stupid hit with a lack of understanding of the rule and not seeing the ball than anything else. It was stupid no doubt but there was alot of stupid going around. We did have a guy get punched in the face as well. Once again I think he deserves to be suspended for the full purdue game. BUT the kid didn't commit murder for christs sake.

Lack of understanding of what rule? The rule that you can't launch yourself helmet to helmet against a defenseless returner at a standstill when the ball isn't within a mile of him? It was a dirty, vicious hit. Your trying to justify it is nauseating.

No sir a stomach flu is nauseating (which I do have) this is just more of a pest. It wasn't within a mile of him? You sure about that?looked to me like an extremely boneheaded play by an extremely young player with some dirtiness in there. But
