    You guys know the Pelicans Director of Basketball Ops is a 28 year old named Shane Kupperman? Supposed to be an advanced stats guru. He was an IU student manager.

    Yep, like hypnotiq said, Dominique Booth, a 4 star receiver, chose IU over Missouri. He also said he had about 5 other recruits coming to Indiana with him, but said he wouldn't give names since some of them are committed to other schools currently. I thought that was very interesting

    I hope one of these recruits is a new defensive coordinator, or else none of it is going to matter a bit.

    Im hoping Mallory can up his game from awful coordinator to just a plain bad coordinator or below average coordinator. We have talent on defense

    NSD? But Booth said the recruits he apparently is bringing with him are "high key", hopefully defensive recruits

    Mallory isn't going to get better with better talent. He will just have more he won't know what to do with. Just look at his LSU teams

    I think he means National Signing Day, which would be far too late. Truth be told if they were going to fire Mallory it would have (and certainly should have) happened by now. Hence my expectations for next year's Hoosier football team are much like they were this past year.

    I know it is way too early to do this for football season, but here are my complete predictions including stat leaders for next years football team:

    Vs Indiana State- W 59-17

    @Bowling Green- W 38-24

    @Missouri- L 42-28

    Vs. Maryland- W 34-23

    Vs. North Texas- W 41-27

    @Iowa- L 34-27

    Vs. Michigan State- L 37-24

    @Michigan- W 42-38

    Vs. Penn State- W 30-21

    @Rutgers- W 28-24

    @Ohio State- L 49-21

    Vs. Purdue- W 38-17

    Overall record: 8-4 (5-3)

    Passing leader: Tre Roberson- 2732 yards

    Receiving leader: Dominique Booth- 956 yards

    Rushing Leader: Tevin Coleman- 1227 yards

    Thats right, I am predicting a major turn around for IU football next season! Like I said earlier... I know this is way too early to do this

    Not to **** in your Cheerios, but you are predicting a defense that held only 3 opponents under 30 points to pull it off 7 times next season. I hope you are right, but I have absolutely no faith in our defense as long as it is helmed by Doug Mallory.

    Ehh, i'm just assuming with all of our young talent we have, that our defense will improve. I heard from a friend in the program, that CKW is planning to take a much bigger role in our defensive planning and preparation. Not sure what impact that will have, but I am hoping it will improve it

    I'd love for that to happen, but I remain skeptical. Mallory is toxic. His stench will reside over all.

    He had elite talent at LSU and the defense got worse the longer he was there. Each year he was there was another year these kids were removed from good coaching, and their play reflected that.

    Even with the young talent getting older, I expect our D to be worse as these guys are further removed from intelligent coaching.

    yep. i doubt it will matter since he is awful at his job. you could give him this past years finest defensive squad in the nation and we'd still be below average at best.

    Damn. I hope they keep the LB coach he had a spot for my buddy is is going to go to IU. He is a beast at LB just really undersized so he was really under recruited. I am going to feel for him if they pull his offer.

    Holy cow, I really wonder what the cause of this was.

    So late to do it if they were planning on it all along. Unless maybe they wanted to distance him from any potential recruits prior to doing it.

    But thank the lord there is hope for the team next year

    LB coach is staying. Only Mallory and our D-Line coach are booted.
