Here's the problem for us, our road games this year are brutal. Mich St, Mich, OSU, and Wiscy. So we either have to steal one of those or win out at home to make a bowl because we pooped the bed against Navy.

This Michigan State game is very winnable as far as road games are concerned.

This may be too cynical but I still find it hilarious every time Wilson and company speak of "handling success".

Why? Wilson is clearly is using "winning" and "success" interchangeably and this year's team hasn't responded well after wins.

Does the Butler thread have a dedicated poster that makes nothing but derogatory and insulting comments about Butler athletics programs? Would it be tolerated? Of course not so why is it acceptable for you to do nothing but bash IU? You were nowhere to be found after any of IU's win this year.

Winning out at home should be expected against Minnesota, Illinois, and Purdue though. I think Sparty-IU should be a toss-up as well. Great offense going up against a great defense. It should be a great one to watch.

Nothing is expected when it comes to Indiana football. I expected us to beat Navy at home too, but that didn't happen. This team is helter skelter. They could go off and do something crazy like beating Michigan in the Big House (they won't) and then turn around and lose to Minnesota at home.

I wouldn't rule out beating Michigan, although it's unlikely. If Gardner turns the ball over like he's prone to doing, IU's offense is going to turn those short fields into touchdowns. Michigan's defense is solid, but not great.

If Michigan doesn't turn the ball over, IU can't beat them. They have too much talent. But Michigan hasn't proven they can consistently do that.

I don't really think the B1G has any sacred cows. Sloopy is as close as it gets, but I think they are beatable. Just not sure who is going to do it. I was ready to believe in Michigan until those AWFUL games against Akron and UConn--two extremely horrible teams, one of which having already fired it's coach this season. I don't think we will win any of our road games, but if there is one we can eek out, I would guess it would be against Sparty this weekend. One thing I'm positive of: Wisconsin will run roughshod over us, because that's what Wisconsin does to Indiana, in all sports.

Didn't realize it was going to be that massive.

tOSU should have lost to N'Western until the refs intervened. IU over Ohio State in football sounds crazy, but I think it's possible. Hell, last year's game wasn't a blowout.

Yes, and a fun fact about that, the band (The McCoy's) is actually from Indiana. My aunt, and mom eventhough she was a couple years younger, went to high school with them.

The Buckeyes have *******ized an otherwise charming old song.

You don't even have to move to Ohio. I live 20 miles from the border and I get so sick of seeing Buckeye gear and window decals everywhere. Tons of teenagers are OSU fans too.

The McCoy's featured Rick Derringer on guitar.... He's from Indiana IIRC. Had no idea about the band's origins...
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

You're playing with fire if you give this IU offense a short field.
