Why did it take Crean this long to play Stanford Robinson? The kid can play

Very impressive comeback by IU today so far. Being down 15 on the road with the way this season has been going--this season was about to spiral out of control. Hopefully they can close this out.

It's hilarious to hear the "Hoo-Hoo-Hoo-Hoosiers!" chant before that last timeout. On the road.

Oh, and Jeremy Hollowell has yet to enter the game. I think there's about a 90% chance he transfers after this season. Honestly, won't miss him.

I was thinking the same thing. He looks really good, and he did against Sparty too. Unleash him, Crean.

Have to agree on Hollowell, heard from someone at IU that the kid is a complete jerk and he has literally added nothing to his game from last season

    Edit- Post 2000!

Nice win to improve to 11-5. Keeps our tournament hopes alive, now it would be great to find a way to pull of a huge upset at home against Wisconsin

We aren't going to make the tournament even with the win today.

The conference schedule is just too tough and I don't see us springing any upsets while avoiding any bad losses at the same time.

We need a new coach, sooner rather than later.

Look what a good coaching hire did for the women's program.

I think its completely possible we finish with 18 or 19 wins, and with us playing in a conference as respected as the B1G, that may be enough

It depends who our wins are against...we need to beat Wisconsin or MSU or someone really good like that.

We could beat a team like Illinois at home, they are ranked 23 right now, and that could be a nice quality win

Our non-conference schedule was so pathetic that it would take multiple wins (two bare minimum) against the Wisconsins, Spartys, and Sloopys of the world to get us into the NCAAs. And that is assuming we win the games we are "supposed" to win as well.

If we could find a way to beat Wiscy that would be huge, though I'm not holding my breath

Wisconsin owns IU in everything. At the very least they should send us some cheese curds to compensate.

Well, the IU men's cross country team beat them last fall and ended their run of 14 straight Big Ten titles…that counts for something, right?

Illinois is not a top 25 team. They have 12 points against Northwestern late in the first half. Beating them is still a must, however, because they'll probably be on the bubble with us.

i'd love to be wrong but, i doubt iu beats a ranked team this year. i agree about illinois too. i question whether they are a legit top 25 squad. i suspect somewhere around 26-40 or so.
