I think you should stick to reading peoples posts properly first before putting judgement or using BIG words

If you haven't given up on this year, damn straight. Pull the trigger. Something is better than nothing, which is what we will get from Ron for the rest of the season.

If you are already saying "wait till next year." No way. Ron's better than Al in the long run.

Come on man, I consider Ron Artest for Al Harrington a comical trade. Ron is one of the top 10 players in the league and is improving and has potential to be MVP...give me a break...some people on here want to get rid of Ron and our championship hopes in a heartbeat.

Just give BTown a 9th chance, he was putting up MVP-calibur posts back in November!

Thats one trade I can see making our team worse. I'd rather trade for Walker. Well not really, but he'd be a better fit for what we need right NOW.

Well, obviously someother people on here don't see that trade as comical as you do. I wouldn't do this trade, but atleast show some respect for the Forum and its people.

Lots of people, lots of differing opinions.

I personally have never seen BTown give anything less than %110.

And I dont know a single poster here that doesn't take a night off every now and then.

Even if we had AL right now , we would still have the same record.

    Peck,
You have to remember as soon as Al was traded and put on another uniform his value as an NBA player dropped like a rock (to Pacer fans). His detractors danced in the streets while his supporters decided "He wasn't that good anyway... Good riddance".

I was glad to see Al go. Altho he'd be a major upgrade over Curry in the shortrun I don't know that we'd utilize him properly in the long run. And he isn't a player that will happily do whatever the team wants/needs unless it suited him. Since we know JO is going to be the star his (Al's) role isn't going to suit him.

If we are trying to salvage the season and get back to contender status the a lineup of:
    Harrington
    Foster/Harrison
    ONeal
    Sjax/F Jones
    Tinsley

Reggie gets utility minutes at SG and SF and situational use.

....Intrigues me. It also relegates Reggie to the bench and isn't nearly as intriguing if it doesn't.

So... no, to Al for Ron...

This assumes no future moves are already planned for this summer. I don't necessarily like Al as the SF as a longterm answer.

    -Bball
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

Btown is just killing this forum.

He's got to go. I've hated him since before we ever made that trade with the RealGM boards. I want bulletproof back.

The Mods should just cut Btown. Addition by subtraction, that's what I always say.

I'm guessing the forum's true MVP (or at least the guy I voted for MVP last season) is just 100% tired of sharing the forum's comical spotlight with this joker.

    I'm tellin' ya, he's a Dancer with a capital "C"

Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you
