Default Luck Makes Jaworski's Top 10 On The QB Countdown

Congrats Andrew. Ahead of RG3, Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick. Lets go for top 5 next year.

Jaws is one of the most analytical guys out there. He's one of the few media guys that I listen to & believe what he's saying. The way he breaks down game video is great.

    Nice compliment coming from him.

Guess he could be top 5 this year, they have not listed his name yet correct, I think 3 bing names ahead of him, Rodgers, Brady, Manning, and maybe Matt Ryan only guys I think definitely have him beat.

Jaws is ok, but he had Schaub 9th, so y'know, whatever.

Drew Brees and Eli Manning without question. I'm as big of a Luck fan as anyone, but he still has a lot to prove before you can elevate him over two guys with very recent Super Bowl championships.

I forgot about Drew Brees, and I don't think Eli has him for sure, but Jaws will probably put Flacco above him as well

I think 10 is a good spot. He's probably better than Schaub, but I think one more good year will cement that. Most of the people in the top 6-8 you can't really put Luck ahead of since many have titles and have a better resume to this point. Something that only time will change once Luck starts doing well in the playoffs.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I don't think this should be solely based on what they have done in the past though, it is an anticipation of what he expects, what they have shown and where they are at this point in their career. Like he said he typically does not put 1st year QB's too high because they really have only had one season and it is hard to tell what your getting, but with this group he feels a lot more confident, also there are QB's on the decline like Schaub, and even though Eli had a decent year, he did not really standout like he should have. I still have no faith in Flacco, I guess this is a complement in a sense but he is somewhat like Brett Favre in the way he plays besides he doesn't run as often and is not as exciting. Brett played reckless, and at times it helped and at times it hurt, but he had good groups around him and with his will and skills he more often than not got them over the hump.

I don't think Flacco is as good as Brett, but his inconsistent play, and making questionable passes while having a strong are reminds me of Brett.

Eli Manning is #8 and Ben Roethlisberger is #7. Guess I can't argue either one with their clutch playoff performances.

Here is what I am thinking Flacco 6th, Matt Ryan 5th, Brees 4th, Peyton 3rd, Brady 2nd, and Rodgers 1st... only possibly change is Flacco and Ryan may be switched.

His completion %(54) is pathetic and would put him near the bottom of starting NFL QBs. He threw 18 picks and only 23 TDs. His Yards Per Attempt is right around other superstar QBs like Josh Freeman, Jay Cutler, Trent Edwards, and Carson Palmer.

Sure, Luck will be a great QB one day, but no argument can be made for him being top 10 now or not even next season.

His team won 11 games with one of the most ****-tastic rosters I've ever seen.

His rookie receivers caught the most yards in the history of the NFL for a rookie group, and not a single one of them was a first round pick.

Not to mention he was running for his life on more plays the not. He had like zero time to throw compared to just about every other QB. Give him some protection and watch out.

    Well Brees is 6th...

I assume it will go, Ryan 5th, Flacco 4th, Peyton 3rd, Brady 2nd, Rodgers 1st.

Jaws is an idiot. Luck is better than both Schaub and Matt Ryan. Imagine if Luck has White, Jones, and Gonzales to throw to. I would put Luck 6. Manning brothers, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Luck

Don't get greedy just yet. RG3 and Russell Wilson both had great seasons. I was glad to see Luck above them at least. It wasn't a given by any means.
