    Default what in the hell?

I didn't even bother watching tonights game? I just switched over and saw 121-84 with about 3 minutes to play. All I can ask is . . . .

WHAT IN THE ***** HAPPENED TO THE DEFENSE ON THIS TEAM? Yes, I already know Artest's absence is part of it. But, C'MON!!!!! This is ridiculous.

Last 3 games the defensive average is about 118. This cannot continue and I can't believe Rick isn't a raging maniac right now.

    WHAT GIVES?

Maybe Ronnie just IS that important to our T-Defense. I can see it improving with SJax back, but not spectacularly.

After watching the game tonight, i would have rather watched my dog take a ***** over and over again. This was a terrible performance. It's gotta get better soon, we are due. Here's a few things i noticed:

    we are getting out-rebounded.
we dont even bother to box out, wtf? seems like the other teams are going for all the loose balls and are crashing the boards on us. You would think that we would be getting off to fast breaks but no. pathetic.

We are not hitting shots, period. Jamal cant get assists if players keep missing shots. shot selection could be much better too.

We let the other team set the pace and build momentum from the opening tip.

    I'm depressed now. Later

Well, most of the problem is that we're playing back-to-back against 2 of the top teams in the league. This lineup is good for about a .500-.600 season, no more. When you add Jackson, Bender, and Pollard, that's a team that could possibly make it to the finals. Add Artest, and you have a team that can win in the Finals. Don't expect to beat the top 10 teams in the league. Don't even expect to be competitive until Jackson gets back. On the bright side, if this season goes into the crapper (unlikely) we'll either have a great draft pick, or great bait to get rid of Artest, depending on your opinion. The only thing that keeps me from getting depressed is that I know we have a great staff who will turn this thing around either this year or next year.

We are looking old and tired on defense....Miller and Curry can not guard the swing players of this league who are generally the best athletes and scorers on any given team... I can't believe..... knowing the brand of ball the Suns have been playing this year, how we can look so un-prepared for them.... how can we not have a gameplan to keep the ball out of Nash's hands...or trapping in the backcourt to keep them from advancing the ball upcourt so easily and quickly...jeezus.

Offensively we are playing every possession like the the last two minutes of a playoff game... tight and motionless.

why is it we run back on defense instead of going for the O Rebound? or follow the shot? And even when we do get back...WE STILL GIVE uP EASY LAYUPS AND THREES!
Depressing? I only watched about 5 minutes of the game tonight if even that...I was like theres gotta be something better to do

No one really knows what impact Stephen Jackson will have on the court when he gets back. We knew the team was missing some valuable things from Jermaine like scoring and another inside presence but his return hasn't seemed to help. The team couldn't stink anymore than it does right now. We could lose by 35 WITHOUT Oneal. He certainly hasn't helped us on this road trip. This team is in utter disarray right now and I'm not going to be satisfied having mini winning streaks against the lower skilled teams in the n.b.a. If you can't party with the big boys, don't show up and we sure as hell haven't. Are we tired? Are we slow? God knows we can't hit a perimeter shot. What's the problem? Aren't we supposed to have one of the best trainers in the n.b.a? Why have we been less healthy the last two years than we had the previous ten? Why does it always take the players longer to come back then what they originally anounce? Bender has been ready to play for a week and a half. I'm just about ready to give up on this year. Don't be surprised if we don't make the playoffs this year. What is this new offense the team has been talking about? Is it called the "We are not going to rebound or play defense" offense.

JO is NOT the problem. And we would not have beaten the Bucks without him or the Nets for that matter. We will make the play-offs, definitely NOT as contenders anymore though.

Haven't you heard? Curry's the only reason why we keep losing, even if he plays less minutes than James Jones.

Seriously, our perimeter defense is horrible, no matter who's in there. We need reinforcements, and quick.

There are certainly more issues than Curry... he's just the lighting rod right now.

The answer to this is... Reggie Miller and Bad Defense...
Why Reggie Miller? Reggie is only taking at top 7 shots Per game.. which is ridicilous... I dont understand why he started to take so Few shots after Jermaine came back... whats wrong with him? is 15 shots per game so hard to shoot? even if i could play in the Pacers for 30 minutes i could fire of 15 Shots... at least Reggies shots would go in! if he just starts to shoot at least 5 more Shots per game then maybe pacers would have a chance to win.. or even get close to a win??
Why bad Defense? no comment... all i can say is besides Jermaine Oneal these guyz has one of the worst defensive teams in NBA
