    Default Pacers/Warriors/Hawks

Pacers trades: Danny Granger + 1st Round Pick (2014) to Atlanta, 1st Round Pick (2016) to Golden State
Pacers get: Harrison Barnes/Klay Thompson + Andres Biedrens

Atlanta trades: 2nd Round Pick to Golden State (or just nothing)
Atlanta gets: Danny Granger + Richard Jefferson + 1st Round Pick (2014) from Pacers

Golden State trades: Richard Jefferson + Andres Beidrens + Harrison Barnes/Klay Thompson
Golden State receives: 1st Round Pick (2016) from Pacers, 2nd Round Pick from Atlanta

Why for Indiana: They shed Granger's contract for a rookie contract of Barnes or Thompson, and while taking on Beidrens contract sucks, he can still give some bench minutes.
Why not for Indiana: Trading two 1st round picks is too risky in today's NBA, and while Barnes or Thompson would fill a shooting need, taking on Beidrens probably doesn't allow them to resign Lance. Also a lot of player movement for a championship contender.

Why for Atlanta: A 1st round pick in 2014 is huge, they're like gold, Granger gives them a productive vet for the season (if healthy), and plus they needed to fill salary for the season anyway.
Why not for Atlanta: Jefferson's contract sucks, and they may feel, why not just trade with Golden State alone to get Barnes or Thompson.

Why for Golden State: Clears the cap space needed to sign Dwight Howard, while giving them an extra 1st round pick they can send to the Lakers.
Why not for Golden State: Well if Howard doesn't go, it's all moot...and they may not want to part with Barnes at all, they may be trying to pawn off David Lee's contract.

Got about a .0001% chance of happening for the reasons above, but hey, I'm bored...

This is obviously after the fact and pretty much doesn't apply anymore, but the Warriors would've never traded both Klay and Barnes to clear space for Dwight.

Dwight was intrigued with playing with GS because of the young talent and how they looked during the playoffs. The problem with this deal would've been that he would've never agreed to play with the Warriors if they traded away those 2 guys to clear space. Then they wouldn't have quite had the same young talent and it wouldn't have been nearly as attractive a destination for Dwight.

I think he was suggesting they would only trade one of them.

Yeah I was. Not like it matters anymore now.
