Thread: Should Hibbert develop a three point shot?

  1. #1

Question Should Hibbert develop a three point shot?

So what do you guys think in the off-season, if for F**k's sake, Hibbert on his own, or at the behest of the front office or coach Vogel, developed a little 3 point shot? Nothing Bargani-esque or obsessive, something Brad Miller-esque. Where like maybe 3 or 4 times a game, he took a three? He can hit the three. Not often but his attempts have looked better even under duress than some of Dwight Howard's free throws XD! But yeah, anyways...what do you guys think?

The only three point shot Hibbert should develop is the "and one".

Because if there's somewhere you want your 7'2", 280 pound behemoth, it's 30 feet from the basket.

No, but having a reliable 17 footer would be a nice addition.

One, I remember it was a desperation heave. I remember I think his second year he hit two in a game from the corner because JOB wanted him to develop it.

I don't mind an occasional 18 ft jumper within the offense. No reason for him to ever take threes though

He hit a big three in college I remember too. Maybe against Syracuse? Homeboy could be onto something here.

I asked in another thread for you to stop trying to sabotage our roster, Grimp.

To the point of the thread title, No. He doesn't have a track record of supreme efficiency as it is. I think that will change, as long as he stays in the post where he belongs.

Don't remember even JOB being accused of asking Hibbert to develop a 3-pointer. I remember the foofooraw over him asking McRoberts to develop one, though.

Heh, to answer the OP semi-seriously, you don't take Royzilla away from his designated hunting area, the backboard. Maybe a 10-12 ft. shot from the elbow? Yes please.

Was it? Coulda swore I remember him wanting Roy to develop a corner 3. Who knows, I've tried to erase those memories.
