I get all that, but if Lloyd's family win the civil case his daughter wont get anything

Perhaps I have seen too much television, but I still question if it was really a suicide.
Supposedly CT civil law prohibits claimants from collecting from estate's. Once Aaron died, Lloyd's family gets zilch.

That might have been his intention, but it's probably not full proof. His contract was terminated when he was arrested, not when he was convicted.
His family is trying to get the guaranteed money from his contract. Being convicted made Aaron be the reason why the contract was nullified so he was in breach of contract. Now with him dying "innocent" it becomes that NE simply cut him, but are responsible for fulfilling the guaranteed $ portion.

Will it work? IDK but it has a better chance than he had, which was zero.

Honestly, I don't care if it was suicide or not. Good riddance to him either way.

The chances are probably .01% though. The contract grievance was already settled, he kept part of his signing bonus. The rest was voided for breach of contract.

I'm not saying it will work, just that it makes some sense he'd commit suicide to try and get something for your daughter.

Doing it right after a not guilty verdict is just weird.
