Thread: Marshon Brooks?

  1. #1

    Question Marshon Brooks?

Think Nets are interested in dealing him? He saw hardly any time this past season after a strong rookie campaign. How about OJ and Tyler for Marshon?

Are we supposed to start threads about any player we personally covet?

He is awful he is starting for the all worst defense team. There is a reason coaches refuses to play him. His defense is un real bad. I can't believe how bad it is, and the sad thing is he has tool to defend it's just atrocious. I didnt even mention how bad he is with his decisions on offense and how he never passes no matter what.

Everybody realizes now that Brooks sucks right?

    Because Brooks really sucks.

What happened that lead him from "Look at that guy score," to "He sucks?"

I'm assuming he doesn't do anything other than score, and that defenses got better at defending him?

But he'd be great off the bench with a guy like Chris Douglas Roberts. They both can attack the basket and score with mid range jump shots. Sure they need some polishing, but in the Pacer system once they're taught defense all will fall into place. Both were good scorers with the Nets.

The way they 'taught Gerald Green' defense this season? How many ex-Net throwaways do we need, exactly? I just don't think they're that appealing.

Totally agree, I was a huge fan of him in predraft. I think I was the first or one of the first to throw his name in here. He has went down hill big time. I think he could get to a much higher level on both sides off the ball with the right coaching staff and teamates. He has had a rough time in Brooklyn, has been alienated for what I've been told. He needs attention and a lot of work and the Nets was in win now mode. Hope he gets out of there this summer to a team that knows what they're doing.

How about Brooks and Reggie Evans for G. Green? They get rid of someone they don't want and we get rid of someone we don't want? Don't know that they would do that, but wth, it don't hurt to ask. Would also solve the Hans, and Pendergraf decision. The way the Nets like to run, Green might become valuable to them.
